You need the DS3 Tool from motionjoy http://www.motioninjoy.com/download
use it all the time, i just make the ps3 controller look like a 360 controller, it confuzes windows into thinking it is a 360 controller. You can also set it up to use the six axis stuff too. Go try and have fun

there is an app for android phones (called LFS dashboard) that displays a speedo ,rpm, fuel, tire temp, and other stuff. works great on my htc evo 4g, someone should be able to make one for the iphone
you can get this program and use it to open the jpeg and save it a a DDS

Had a G25 and loved it, but broke shifter once and one of the FFB motors, after almost 2 years of use.
I sold it to another LFS racer for parts and bought a G27, i like the feel of the force feedback better, although i have to use a higher FFB setting then what i did with the g25, ex: XFG w/ G25 used about 30-35% in game, and XFG w/ G27 i use 40-45%.
Turning with G27 is smoother then the G25, and not as much noise as the G25.
Its nice to be able to adjust the pedals, just need a allen wrench.

i have been running LFS for about a year on a 47"HDTV at 1920x1080, off a DVI to HDMI adapter. I have sound and all from the DVI to HDMI adapter. You have to have a video card capable of sending sound though it, in my case, i have a ASUS P5N-D and BFG 250GTS 1GB. I had to get a wire to go from my motherboard sound to the input on the video card, then just make sure audio is enabled in the Nvidia control panel.
it can work, im sure of it, but i just dont know how to program stuff well enough. i just wish someone who knows about programing would kindly play around with it and see what they could do. I know it will work, just i cant pull it off lol

it turns out since as new as i am, im not sure i can get this to work. I ended added input by the pedal ingame but not the rpm lol. well that said if anyone would like to help learn on how to get the data out i think i maybe able to pull something off:something
im trying to get the LED's working but haven't been that successful. i did get them to receive data from LFS but it wasn't right. they light up to the red line before it suppose too lol

try deleting your graphics card cfg file. i had trouble with that after i started using my 47 HDTV as my main monitor deleted card cfg file and it worked after that, just had to reset my graphics options

i just got my G27 and major improvement over the G25. It is a little weird being able to hear the wheel slide across your hand instead of the FFB motors. I hope someone can do something about the LEDs cause they dont work in LFS or i havnt noticed them lol
side note i got a G25 with a dead wheel, but shifter and pedals work. lol
