Of course, it's dedicated, just getting people to play is the problem.
Keeping Rally'ers busy...

Name : Halfshots' Rally X

Just your standard Rallycross server, I seem to be a minority in the LFS community given my interest in Rallycross, but none the less, I welcome all clean Rallycross drivers. I've setup LFSLapper so your times are recorded and saved to the server. Currently, I'm running the RB4 at Blackwood Rally but of course, I'm open to suggestions, may make it a different track / car every week, depending on the amount of visitors. Hope to see you soon!

*Sorry if this was placed in the wrong section, feel free to move if necessary.*

Quote from ans7812 :you forgot about merging traffic, idiots that can't drive period. road hazards, blind spots, the list goes on. more could go wrong in real life than in a sim

edit: WHat i was directing my statements at was the fact that he said he "Froze up" and his hands wouldn't do what they wanted him to. FOR EXAMPLE: If he is on an entrance ramp merging into traffic moveing at 75 mph and he "freezes up" while i happen to be next to him, it isn't going to be pretty. What if there is an accident in front of him and he "Freezes up."

I know everyone is probably reading this saying, "What a jerk that guy is" but seriously, everyone needs to think about whats going on. This person is have anxiety attacks over a racing simulator. I don't know about nayone else but from my perspective, his reactions are childish, immature and unjustified.

Idea here is performance, everyone is out racing to perform to their best. I know I don't get in my car to go to work and say to myself everytime, remember what I learned and I'll do my best, because it's casual driving, your not performing. In a race in LFS, your trying to be #1, your taking everything you learned and putting into one race to COMPETE and PERFORM to the best of your abilities among others doing the same, you don't do that on the highway at 75. It all goes back to competition and with my background in sports, everyone gets nervous before a big event, it's just how you handle it.

All in all, you can't compare LFS online racing to real world driving, it's two completely different concepts.

Last week's race probably took a little less than two hours, seeing how it was the first week, I'm sure the kinks will be worked out when Week 2 comes around, so the time can only be shorter at this point.

Quote from Hankstar :Bah. Ottowa Senators ftw!

Sabres on top...and don't bring up last game...I'll admit, they weren't the same team that got them to where they are now, Ottawa is good, but Buffalo is better

Ahh looks like there's no real interest in the public, it's too bad, the site is http://topshelf.forum5.com/ , maybe I'll find a team that just races in Rallycross

I think calling them noobs first off will just discourage the whole idea altogether, and making a "team" I feel wouldn't be the best solution. Maybe you could create a community, including a website (forums), and a racing server and organize it from there...

I feel the range of individuals coming from all over the world is a great aspect. It really gives someone the chance to meet new people, and not only new people in their country, but others from different countries.

BTW - Where abouts in Canada do you live Critical, I'm pretty close to the Canadian border?

Aww, that's too bad, would be fun, I love watching the race highlights on your site, good work. None the less, I'm starting to feel committed to this league and I plan on pursuing it so any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated seeing how you are experienced with it

forum5.com/

That's what I use, you can pretty much get a whole low budget yet decent looking site going from there. Here's mine...still a work in progress http://topshelf.forum5.com/

Haha I didn't even see that league, I did see a race though, possibly on youtube involving some core guys, and yes, with FE Rallycross Green, I will be dropping the tack off, just stinks there's not a lot Rallycross tracks in the gae , but all in all, I'm glad you posted and thank you for the insight, and with the XRT and FXO, I wanted some diversity, I'm all for RB4, can't race Rally without it but I didn't know if others preferred the XRT or FXO in Rallycross, but thanks again for your insight and information!
