I have to agree with the majority... if you give me a class with a FWD, AWD, and RWD I will drive the RWD everytime regardless of its advantage/disadvantage. The RWD's are the most fun to me and I can't imagine driving anything else.

I don't have a grip problem, but by the end of a race I am sweating horribly.

I think what LFS offers is very special, but people who are not into sim racing will not see it that way. So will LFS see a boost in users, yes, probably so given the right media. I think the real question is will those users be long term, and I believe the answer to be no. LFS requires patience and time, and those are two things arcade racers aren't generally looking for. So what LFS will end up getting is an in-flux of short term users that will quickly fade back to normal.

My computer racing started with Gran Turismo.... very fond memories which started a hobby.

I had never even heard of lfs until I accidently stumbled into some videos on youtube a couple months back and needless to say I was ready before I even downloaded it. I downloaded it only to realize it was the racing sim that dreams are made of.

I only made enough laps to make sure it worked on my computer, then immediately purchased. The dev's deserve it, wicked great game, I only wish I had heard about it sooner.

And no, I haven't played Gran Turismo since.
