I give up, it IS practice as you can't seem to compensate for the lack of tactical feedback.. just face it, simracing has 2 main sources of feedback.. Eyes and ears. Get a low lag screen to make it easier to use your eyes and a proper headset to make use of your ears.
and why u think your line is to inconsistent? trying to hard? no? concentrating on going fast? no?
consistency comes first laptimes come later. if you can only do a few laps before starting to loose concentraiton youre just trying to hard. if done right going fast and consistent is effotless.
why? cus u don't have to concentrate on what lines you drive those should just be there but oh wait you didn't do more then 3 laps before fluctuating in your laptimes? so youre still cocentrating just to get around the track. its just my take on it, spending money on harware when the software between the seat and the weel can be tweeked for free seems kina like a waste for me.
I have tried several motion rigs, types of wheels, pedals and screen setups none of them made me fasater or more consistent exept for the cheap loadcell brake pedal set, and the loadcell pedal is also the only hardware that i could apply to my real life racing experience too.
but if you wanna spend money on your rig then get a proper screen with low imput lag TV is probably the worst thing u can even race on as the imput lag is usualy huge.
Sounds like a total newbie tip but try slowing down a bit make sure to hit all your marks the same way lap after lap and try to keep lap times as close as possible.
Then slowly start building speed but don't miss your marks! it takes time to build speed that way but in the end you will be faster and more consistent.
At Least that's what i do when i get a bit carried away IRL racing, just slow down and make it perfect not fast just perfect and the speed will come even if you don't notice it, a fast lap should feel slow . only sim hardware that helped my consistency is load cell brake
Volvo is usualy a safe bet if you look for a car that is just a car. My parents have a V70 2.4D 08, runns good even with race car on trailer behind it, but its just a car i never managed to have fun in it how hard i even tried.
can't speak for Volvos petrol engines or the V50 but a Volvo is a Volvo and is most likley gonna do the job just fine and with some mods the V50 can look rather nice
didn't drive the Radical before but it feels really good now and drives somewhat like the Radical PR6 i got to test last year so im having a blast at Montreal
yeah there is alot of signs and stickers, the plain orange one is most common and used when carrying smaller amounts of hazmat.
The ones with id numbers are used for larger and more hazardous transports of same substance for example the sign u posted would be put on a tanker carrying gasoline
Never go close to a transport vehicle that has been in an accident and have a sign like this http://www.borghico.eu/sweden/upload/img/2968_b.gif
You never know what dangerus material that is loaded on the vehicle and how it reacts.
Its almost only drive time. I load up the truck and dolly trailer (25.25m) in the morning.
Then i head of to destination and just park it in the gate and it gets un-loaded and then loaded up with empty package cages while i take lunch.
Then i just head home and drop of swap container and de-couple the dolly from the trailer and go home around lunch time.
Its really nice trip but career goal is to to drive some sort of forestry truck, so this is first step in geting some experience
Tried to replace the fuel filter ?
You should also try to clean the involved parts to see if there might be any leaks or dirt and grime interfering with something
just saying that the car is well fast enough to have a well functioning diffuser.
this cute 133hp thing made enough of a vacum to pull off the whole diffuser and part of the undertray.
and a diffuser can operate at way lower speeds then a wing, a wing in general is worthless under 80km/h
The diffuser together with a undertray works such that air get accelerated under the car thus creating a low pressure area of clean undisturbed air.
No need for alot of HP or crazy corner speeds to get underbody aero working, example a mx5 running a class over here called modsport runs a basicly stock engine and a aero pack and is out running GT2 spec cars on twisty tracks
well, spring lasted a few days at least
but went to STCC pre-season testing to see some F Renault's and clios fail but we missed the guy that crashed on pit entery
well you do the same for the Zaz by showing it with complete engine rebuilds :P you can get an old Volvo to go like hell with a big turbo and a few engine parts too. For the Zaz to be fun you would probably need to put ether a different engine in it or tune the living hell out of it, unless you enjoy ice fishing more ofc. whiles the miata is a fun car out of the box, and for even more fun for a cheap price put some coilovers and some R-spec tyres and go to a track day and race with the M3's
Most raced car in the world and is track ready with only a few minor upgrades. So it wins value for money by miles and for the lack of straight line speed it takes back under braking and cornering
got one strike on the MOT, belive it or not it was all was fine with a mychron mounted on the dash, seatbelts not running smooth, straight pipes with race catalyst, racing brake pads no airbag lamp. But what got me was dry cracked tyres that i mount once a year
