Can anyone with a Black Momo or DFP tell me the specs of the PSU for it?
I have a damn Momo and DFP sitting here and I forgot both of the PSU's when I moved.... I finally got a desk where I can use a wheel again and I can't use them now.
After clicking that link (I followed a different link showing what each car was based off of) that shows what the UFR is based off of. I'm truly frightened.
Counter-strike anyone? Jesus Christ. Millions upon millions of dollars come from that game each year.
But, to LFS. The fact of the matter is as everyone has said: LFS can be incomplete, lacking a lot as I feel it might be now, and is still far beyond anything that ANY company has ever put out. It's not some bull shit hyped up arcadey sim. Three guys pour their guts into it and aren't satisfied with sub-par results, unlike anything that could even claim to be their competitor. There are few games you can play consistently and remain challenged. LFS is one of them. Hell, I don't even drive all of the cars. I typically find one, create or download a setup that makes the far feel good and drive the shit out of it until I finally decide that I'm still the slowest guy on the track. Then I switch cars and undoubtedly find out the exact same result with that car. Until I run out of cars (Which will, as the pace goes now, be in about three years) LFS will not be old to me.
Start drifting (AH! HE SAID DRIFTING!). There are so many people that do nothing but it and are, frankly, amazing at it. It's a challenge to even remotely compete with them going around the track.
Hell, bust out the AU_Autocross and start making layouts of tracks that you, and other people will enjoy. There is a vast amount of satisfaction you can gain from the simplest of things within LFS. It's just up to you to find, and enjoy them.
Hell, this feature rocks. Now my UF1 sounds like it should. Mean, growling and a small hint of raspiness. I hope this gets full fledged implimentation.
Fantastic thread. Thanks for the pictures and videos.
Edit:
In my old car, I had the suspension setup.... well... to not move. I had less body roll than an F1 car. (joking). But... I had about -1.5 camber in the rear and could fold the tires almost to the rim. They were "street performance" tires.. Toyo's.. on 30ish lbs of pressure. But then again, I tried to flip the car more often than not.
Why restrict who can join? Everyone's money spends the same, yes? If someone (Like me) who is a terrible driver, is willing to spend the money, much the same as the "professional" people are... why not take everyone's money equally?
This will give the better drivers incentive to join because of the higher purse value. Everyone can be happy!
Get S2, drive the FZ50. <3. It's (in my opinion) the best drift car. With a good setup, touch the throttle and it slides in. Throttle and counter-steer and you can drift where ever you wish it to go.
Well, I ran a 31.68 in the BF1 on the oval without a draft. Then another player offered to assist me in learning to draft and I ran a 31.70 with the draft. I guess, as you say, practice makes perfect.
