OK maybe got a bit mixed up with dvi/vga my bad.. Dvi is as good as HDMI picture quality..

VGA is for picture only, Thats why you have the RCA leads on the xbox VGA adapter.

I must say I dont notice ANY picture quality difference from using a HDMI cable to the VGA cable on my 42" None what so ever, if there is its very slight that I really cant notice.
Maybe thats why I got confused with VGA/DVI thing.

Still it seems like the poster needs sound so there are not many options left for him apart from a VGA cable if there are no speakers on his ACER monitor just like mine. Unless ya can buy some sort of adapter to plug in.

No just use the VGA cable for image and sound, VGA is just as good as HDMI for picture quality.

I love the X games rally, As others mentioned its like the ROC or a super special stage, Great spectator events!
It would be cool to see WRC drivers in the mix but its probrably not in there best interest to do it. Tho it would be fantastic to watch.

Anything that brings motorsport to the masses in good in my book!
Lets think about it. More that watch xgames and enjoy it will probrably start following WRC, Get Block and Pastrana in the WRC and america will be all over it like a rash

I use an xbox 360 VGA cable, It has a VGA plug and a red and white phono jacks, I bought a simple phono to 2.5" jack converter and plugged it directly into my pc and used my PC sound system on it.

Very cool with the sub blasting out

Well he did beat the legend Colin Mcrae at the x games in rally X in 2007(?),

Mcrae was around a second ahead, then Colin rolled it in the 2nd to final corner but continued to finish a second or so behind Travis with a flat tyre. That says something about the legend CM

I dont think Pastrana would have a chance in hell even getting close to winning the WRC. Thata where the tallent lies in rally.

Still for a bloke who can jump onto or get into anything and do some amazing stuff I have to give him that. He is like an overactive puppy.

I used to work at a motorcycle shop that sponsored a F2 sidecar team that went to the TT. The poor passenger was hanging his backside out of the outfit as they were in a 130mph bend, his backside hit a stone wall and he was thrown into the front of a house, hit the wall and ended up in the garden next door, he pronounced dead for 3 mins.

Luckily he made a near full recovery but never raced again due to problems with his back and legs. At least he survived, he was one of the lucky ones.

You cant beat Battlefield 2 and its mods/expansions for some FPS mayhem. Get on the right map and in a squad of decent players and you will have a ball.

Ive played most of the released FPS games over the last few years but I will always go back to BF2, You can pick BF2 and all its expansions off play.com right now for £9.99, Too much of a bargain not to get.

Hey guys,

I was wondering if you were still recruiting? After my 2 man team (PBR) went down the plughole after the UF champ ive been looking around for a new team to join, A team that is pretty active in LFS and going to last the distance. I really didnt want to join a team that was going to fold in a month so ive waited around for the best option.

Some of you guys already know me,From either the quality UF champ or from running on the CTRA servers, so you know im not the fastest guy out there. But its not all about speed is it? Im a clean and fair racer with plenty of miles under my belt as my stats suggest, My usual racing times vary from between 6:30-10:00pm weekdays (early starts for work ) and from anytime at the weekends running till 2-3am.
LFS is the only game ive been playing lately, maybe a little BF now and again but not so much nowadays,NKP and RF just cant give me the fun that LFS does,


Anyway i think that is enough for now, IF somebody could let me know either by PM or here if your still after decent racers id really appriciate it,
