I just want to point out that giving one lap back for only those teams which timed out in last sector put them actually in better position than the ones who timed out in first or second.
3rd sector is something like about 50s long. So when +1 lap penalty is removed from them they lose about 2mins to 2mins 50s. But then these teams timing out in first or second sector not only get +1 lap penalty which is already 2min 50s, and just to add to that then all the time lost when they were racing before the actual timeout which can be from 1s to 2mins. And then of course the time to connect the server again and leaving the pits, and how the strategy went all wrong.
Yea most of the LFS teams go inactive simply because people lose interest towards LFS, reasons for that are obvious enough. However id see that only one part of this whole team is about LFS. We have have good group for that but more and more of LFS'ers are moving into other sims. For me and for many others the main focus is in sims like iRacing.
ineX Racing is an ambitious simulation racing team consisting of skilled sim and real life racers from across the globe. The team was established on the 16th of April, 2010. The term ineX is derived from the latin word “inexpugnabilis,” which means: unconquerable, not to be taken by force.
The team is built around people with experience, both in simulations and real life racing. The members of ineX Racing have the motivation and commitment needed to push the team towards success. Since the beginning we have seen our lineup expand and strengthen significantly. With the skill-set we possess, we will do nothing but our best to become one of the strongest simulation racing teams in the industry, and to maintain the level that we have already achieved.
Our goal is to provide an environment which inspires ineX drivers to find and reach new levels of competition. We feel that we have assembled a setting where this can be achieved, and the people in the team work hard to improve this aspect further day in and day out. Thus ineX Racing is always on the look out for talents that can improve our team in terms of driving, along with any other helpful facets.
Currently our main focus is in the iRacing and Live For Speed simulators. However, since it's in our plans to broaden our influence on and off the sim-racing tracks, we are not ruling out other simulator possibilities in the future. We aim to compete in as many leagues and series as possible this and coming years, and in the meantime look forward to having fun enjoying the time we spend with all the great people we will meet in the process.

Spdo skins the same as Gt1 skin with different colours so no vote there. F1rst skin has something with the Joker design, so does the Sonic with turtles. Im not a fan of turstles that much so this one goes to F1rst and Joker.
Since I cant vote Merc skin I gotta pick Spdo. None of the skins were that special though, I thought Id see something spectacular this time. All of them nice skins though =)
First of all a reminder for the people who are interested to take part in LFS Pro Series first season in 2009: The sign-up deadline is approaching and all the interested should have applied for their place by 24th January. To apply for a place in the series you can visit the LFS Pro Series website, log in (or register), and fill in a basic entry form to compete as an individual or as part of a team.
So far we have received 7 team entries including Renesis, XFusion Racing, Conquest Racing, Fluid Racing, Mercury #1 & #2 and Core Racing. Also several people have applied a place without a team.
The reason for sign-ups closing three weeks before first round is simple. We will spend couple of days going through the entries and pick up the drivers/teams that we consider capable of providing the level of commitment and racing required from the participants. The drivers and teams involved in test season 2008 will be placed on the top of this list. After the succesful applicants have been notified, they will have two weeks to submit their racing skins for each round containing the LFS Pro Series logos and race plates.
The important dates in coming weeks for LFS Pro Series:
1st January, Season 1 sign-ups open 24th January, Season 1 sign-up deadline 26th January, Succesful applicants will be notified 5th February, Booking-in for the first round opens, Deadline for submitting the skins for each round 12th February, Season 1 first round at 19.00UTC
For those who are unfamiliar with LFS Pro Series. The series is organized and run by Paulc2k and me(Sracer). However people can apply for an official/admin place if they want to get involved in helping and improving the series. We organized an private test season in 2008 where several drivers from teams like #low, F1rst(Vince was crowned as the winner of the season), Mercury, My3id, SK Gaming & Spdo took part. After the test season Paulc2k has spent hundreds of hours coding the features for the series to assure everything should work like we want when the season opening race kicks in. Also after the season post-feedback we received, we have come up with several improvements here and there, biggest of them being more effective communication between participants and the admins.
For more information head to www.lfsproseries.net, also some bits of information can be found from LFSPS section in Leagues&Events area.
Hybrids in rear last for over 30 laps easily, most of the racers drove 30laps race in olfsl with hybrids in rear without problems. Tire pressures needed to be increased a bit but not too much. But using hybrids in front is not possible for longer distances.
I'm sorry but same goes for Cyber, that date and time is impossible for us. If it would be scheduled for later date and for better time maybe then(depends if there is enough interest), but atleast wednesday 16th and 22 GMT atm is impossible.
Anyways good luck with your team challenge. It's nice idea and hopefully you get something fixed to make it happen
We confirmed that 3 cyber racers will be there, not 4, and unfortunately for one of those three drivers the date doesnt fit. Atm it looks like we are going to withdraw, there isn't enough time or interest among the drivers
I was experiencing similar kind of stuttering even havin 70+ fps, found out that installing sp2 and removing my norton internet security solved the problem for me.
IMO that wheel(Logitech Nascar) is just waste of money, I think those are the low budget wheels that you cannot even attach on table properly. I think it was mainly designed for consoles like xbox, ps2 to drive from a couch or sumtin.
If you want quality then MOMO or DFP are the ones you should be looking for
Yea definately sounds like a graphic card issue, had similar once myself. I got power and everything seemed normal for few seconds but display was just black and nothing happened. Found out that graphics card wasn't compatible with the mobo.
And like Fordman said, PCI-E graphic card not PCI, these are totally different things
All I need is LFS, F1C, RBR and sometimes try to play GTR in 5 mins periods just to realise that I dont "feel" the car like Id like to and switch back to LFS
I tested Logitech Formula Force GP in various games sometime ago and it worked fine with some of the driving games and then it didnt perform so well with some other, especially forces felt wierd to me. Pedals are not too good, but I guess its good wheel to start with if you can't afford MOMO or DFP
