I had one of those before I got my Momo, and it's a good wheel with plenty of buttons.
I wouldnt know if you can change between clutch and brake with a button. Maybe if you use some program to map the axes.
Cockpit view isnt realistic. My IRL FoV is almost 180 degrees. People can see things from the corner of their eyes.
I cant do that in game. I cant even adjust my mirrors. So please dont force a view on me.
I dont think AI needs any work.
Who drives against AI?
I know 4 ppl IRL who own LfS, and non of them practise against AI.
Either they practise alone to get to know a track, or they go online and learn there.
I know they are working on it... but really... who uses AI when you can go online to race real people?
The last game I played SP was Halflife (1)
a bit later: anybody else lost?
toothy: yeah... me...
:P
And too bad that the very start is missing.
Everybody accelerates, trying to get ahead.. Half the field knows that track and try to turn right, the others just keep accellerating and thinking they are going to win
This weekend I was on the BnJ server. I joined just too late, and the race was full. So I just stayed and watched.
Cam was following R4R Toothy... and he's a real leader!
Erm... he isnt flaming... Actually he makes sense... Maybe you're angry at him or disappointed, but you even didnt read his last post'good enough, and misquoted it. He was talking about your social skills.
edit: let me put it this way:
What he's trying to say is: if you use proper sentences and a good topic title, people are taking you more serious.
I'm not that technical, but that doesnt mean I'm dumb. I don't understand a word of the bug you found, but the way you make your bug known doesnt really help yourself. If you would have taken 1 minute longer to write your message, nobody would have questioned your bug.
erm... feeling stupid now... where?
I cant find it.. or am I getting retarded?
Or is that an option AFTER you press shift U? If so, how do I get there?
this must sound noobish... I used the search but shift comes up too often and U is too short
when I press shift U it keeps following a car. So that's not exactly free view... Is there a way to wacht a certain part of the track without being glued to a car?
