Well the last sum I heard was 3.500.000 Dollar/Euro (don't know which of the two) but money clearly isn't all that important for Schumacher.....he already has a sufficient amount of it
Yep.....you got it.....I got it.....and several other people (for example Victor) got it as well.....but unfortunately not all (for example Tristan ).....
@Tristan - Just think about our 'complaint' this way: There have been by far more updates to the nK Pro website this year (2 - not even related to any development of the product) than to LFS' (0) - and I really do not believe for one second that this does reflect the actual development of the product.....
This makes nK Pro just 'appear' more alive than LFS.....
I am however a bit curious about the presentation in Düsseldorf.....as I might be working on the Königsallee in Düsseldorf that day.....might be interesting
Seriously Tristan.....Leave it.....It's leading nowhere.....
If someone repeatedly misreads your posts you will not be able to convince him/her (<- PC! ) that you did not mean what he/she understood (.....or even wanted to read into your words).
I agree that LFS should never be watered down realism-wise just to make it easier to go fast for anyone.....that includes ALL input methods.....
Might be true in the USA, but in Germany the Vette is pretty close to 80.000,- € while the CSR260 is less than 68.000,- €.
.....and I doubt that the Z06 would be a real match for the CSR260 in track-performance as long as the track doesn't consist of many comparably long straights.....even though I know that the Z06 is said to be the best handling Vette ever and outperfoms many cars that are far more expensive
I only vote when I know (usually by being an eyewitness) why someone wants the other driver kicked or banned and rarely (very, very rarely) ever start a vote myself.
It's not that I 'ignore votes' or 'don't like to get involved', it's just that I feel the responsibility to use my 'voice' in a fair and reasonable manner and try to use it accordingly.
But I am aware that the standards for voting behaviour vary very much from racer to racer
Seems to me it's not only got to do with Shift+F4 but also with additional applications that are running at the same time, as it only happened to me when I had something like Firefox or Media Player running parallel to LFS.
Some kind of gfx initialization that fails or something, as I see the black screen often when I Shift-F4, but usually I only see it for half a second max.
You think a Seven with Aerodynamics is ugly? Maybe you're right, but at the time you're missing the point of a racecar.....its gotta be fast, not pretty
I think the Seven might be fast enough to compete with bigger GT's even today, if it wasn't for the fixed minimum weight, that you will probably find in the rulebook of most racing series, which makes even trying to use a Seven totally point- and hopeless.....
I would love to see everything.....a nearly stock Seven like the LX4 and LX6 that we've got today, a typical Seven Challenge 260 CSR with no aerodynamics.....but also a full blown race Seven that might compete in a race like the 24h on the Nürburgring, if the Seven had not been banned for 'safety reasons'.....
But do we really want every single server admin to adjust this setting to his liking so we end up with 500 servers that have 80 different handicap settings?!
Even if you get a friendly note that car x has the handicap weight y and the intake restriction z on this very server.....it somehow scares me
