And a silly question, has it really lost that many setups, or are you comparing number of files that were in your original 'settings' dir compared to what's now in your 'setups' dir? The original 'settings' dir contained both colours and setups, which are now separated. This util process both file types and moves them to the new relative dirs. Just making sure.

A few Files endet in "setups" like _GTR_NAME.set and i don´t know from which car they are. But that don´t really matter, cause most sets are there and i have no idea how to find out from which car they was. Perhaps somebody who made a backup could reproduce that.

Make a Backup of your "settings" Folder (LFS\data\settings)
Start-Button (bottom left)
Run (Ausführen)
enter cmd
Now you opened your old DOS-Console, now navigate to the exe.
(Just put the .exe to C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR-USERNAME, then you don´t need to navigate through your hdd with the DOS-Console)
Now type: x10_to_x30_setup_fix.exe --path=Path\to\your\LFS
(in my case: x10_to_x30_setup_fix.exe --path=G:\LFS )
Now it runs a few seconds, and your Sets are changed to X30.

I hope you can understand it

waaaah, it has deleted all my Sets in "settings", and there aren´t all Setups in "setups".
The auto-delete could be removed from this nice tool, i lost around 100 sets

A really nice tool, but add to your first Posting, that it will delete the old files.

Seems like you play on public-Servers with bad drivers.
Go out and play with the big boys, and you will see if you´re good, or if your earlier opponents are just worst.

Seems like you have started a Server on your PC and have entered an Admin-Password.

Just be proud of your name, and use it always you play.
Now it will never happens again, that you lose your qualy-position by changing your name

Yeah. it can be a bug. If you see it from another side it´s a feature
If 2 ppl play at 1 pc in 1 race, and the better qualy-player can race, you are lucky about that feature.
If you´re not proud about your name and change it every 5 minutes, you will lose your qualy-position by this bug.

Decide on your own if it´s a feature or bug.

Easiest way to handle it is to say:
"If you want a server, pay for it"
Then you will see, if your team needs a server or not

there are several good Providers for LFS-Servers.
Just rent 1, shouldn´t be a problem with 17 Members.

only bad thing is, our Servers don´t run with it.
We host on Linux/Wine, and with X10 they freeze after a few minutes.

our Servers run fine till today, after i patched to X10 we had 2 Serverfreeze today.
Less than 10 Players on it.

I have 2 Servers running on Linux/wine.
Both are Patch X now, at W (and before since S) we only had "NO Guestinformation " sometimes.
Since X not once.

Server 1:
Suse 10.0
Wine 20050725

Server 2:
Suse9.3
Wine 20040813

We will run a bigger Cup, with 32 drivers.
If there accour problems, i will post them here.

X brought a lot of improvements.
- preload Clutch
- better InSim
- Hi-Res Skins
- more stable Servers
- 32 Driverslots
- 47 Slots on the servers

If you take a look for the changes between W and X you will see that there is no chance for compatibility, and you will agree that X is the better version.

Same here, that "Black-Screen" Problem i had twice. 1 Time long time ago, and 1 time at W39. I can´t reproduce it, but at W39 i had Mediaplayer running. That´s all i can say about it.

I also never use the Window-mode at joining a server. It always sets to window after i install a LFS-Patch. Then i turn it off again.

But what should we do during the 24h-races? We need those Tools to help our driving mates and to keep in the race. It´s not nice to drive a team-longrun and just sit there and get no race-feeling.
Even the LFS-Spectator is great. This 1 got the better base, so we hope it will get better, so we can change to this 1.

I also have a Momo, and i have no Problems with V.

Seems like your problem is local, and you have to fix it local.
So don´t wait for the Devs to fix your problem, solve it by yourself.

1. Disconnect all Wheels, Sticks, Pads
2. Reconnect your Wheel.
3. Reinstall Logi-Profiler 4.60
4. Download new LFS archive, and try how it works on a fresh LFS-"install"

But you sound like you already know possible solutions, so just try em out.

So please and Option for real AND virtual mirrors.

Public-Racing can be a pain in every racing-game.

But the biggest problems are on servers with:
Cars: GTR´s
Track: As-National
Qualy: no
Laps: 5
join Midrace: yes

If you wanna better racing, search for servers with better settings.
And find a league, that fit to you.
Special in the smaller leagues, you find better racing. Ppl know each other, and respect each other.
Even many teams have own challanges, and they only allow ppl, they saw racing, and saw they are fair racers, who break before they crash another driver.

Much written in bad english, and all i wanna say is:
Stay away from the public-servers, and you will get more fun and less trouble.

You can handle multiple Insim and Outgauge Tools with Becky´s LFS-Companion.

That´s like 30 Tasks too much, if you compare with lowest rate.

up to 30 running Tasks is normal.
48 are way too much.

I know you can talk german, so try this:
Start/Ausführen "msconfig" eingeben ENTER
DAnn auf Systemstart, und dort alle Häckchen entfernen.
ÜBERNEMEN, und PC neustarten.
Danach nochmal testen ob LFS besser läuft.

On that way, ypi stop a lot of background-programms.
If it solves your problem, you have a hint.
And if you have stopped programs you like to use, just go there again, and mark them to start at startup.
