Have you tried changing the profiler settings to 900/720?

A rather odd question, I know. But I've installed LFS on my Netbook for playing at weekends and on long trips (I use an Xbox 360 controller).

In some places I get a nice stable 20FPS, and then suddenly it'll drop to around 9 or 10. Are there any programs out there I can use to really optimize it? I run Counterstrike Source and AOE3 on here fine, so I don't really know why it isn't running that well.

My G25 is having a bit of a problem. The wheel is VERY strong when turning. It's horrible trying to get around corners quickly. The wheel is far to strong. This isn't the forcefeedback either, there are no effects when hitting bumps etc.

Anyone know how to fix this? And i've tried changing the settings/updating my logitech gaming stuff etc.

D'oh, I meant apart from those little issues. I do my best to look after things, especially £200 wheels, haha.

I have a Logitech G25 for sale. I'm looking for £130 including postage. So technically that's around £110 without postage!

The only flaws are the little cap at the top of the gear nob is missing 2 pegs, and comes off every now and then. However, its nothing a bit of super glue won't fix. Secondly, the left little red button on the wheel doesn't work. But I think it's just something simple like a new wire that needs doing.

It's very good condition, no scrapes or tears on the leather of the wheel, and the plastic on all parts is really great nick. No wear on any of it.

Included are all cables and the software CD.

I'm also willing to swap for some hardware. I'm looking to update my computer, so I'm on the lookout for Dual or even quad core processors, motherboards to run the processors etc. Anything you have that's decent and equals at a similar price second hand.

I certainly was! And it wasn't just that everyone was racing, it was also of a very high standard!

Okay, I decided to go down to demo for a little bit to see how they were getting on with the new FB02. Well, I was pretty amazed.

They all actually having proper races. Not just messing about, dragging, "drifting" (Slicks :really or being a liability to the other racers. They were all racing properly, and generally having a good time.

Now I know that many demo racers are already like this, but it seemed that the majority where racing alongside each other.

Hopefully this will stay like this, as I think it's best that the demo racers see how it is to race in S2, thus hopefully upgrading.

Just to add to this, I'm 14 years old to. However, I understand most things said on pretty much all threads, and I have a wide variety of mods to my name. Not only on LFS, may I add.

Hmm i usually race my AI on SO town course in the XFR. Very fun, but they really suck lol. I might let them drive away for a couple of hours today and get a real challenge lol

Probably the most releastic street racing game. Although its text based, all the cars, parts etc are all real and you get shot in the head if your a ricer .

Lol i'm serious, i still can't get on any server.

Well, i havent been able to play LFS for a day due to this. I get the 'another player is connecting' error come up every time i go to connect to a server. It does it on all servers, except on demo. There obviously arent any other players connecting as i have just been sitting here for 5 mins trying to get on Dori.S Show Drift! lol. Any help?
