One thing that comes from cruise servers is the community surrounding it. I always enjoy going into a cruise server with people I know just to have a laugh. If a server has a bad community then I don't bother with it.
Also the physics are perfectly suited for cruising and racing. Alot of legal mods can be applied to make our gaming experience better and alot can be found within the cruise communities.
Now answer me this. Why bother bashing cruising in a cruise topic if you don't like it? Just avoid these topics, avoid the servers and it's not as if you were forced to come here.

I'm not really a strong supporter of the penalty system in GT5. There's nothing wrong with it other than it feels unnatural to me. ALL racing games I've played (online) have had the natural full contact.

I'm sure scavier are already aware of these flaws as you're not the first person to report them. AFAIK for this to be fixed would require an incompatible patch which Scawen is working on now.

That's only if you select penalties on strong. Light allows some contact and off allows all contact. For pace car to work you need penalties off.
