I would actually say that most race cars do have H shift transmissions.

Most race cars you see on tv do not.

It just takes some practice Crashgate. You can turn autoclutch on and just shift with the h-shifter and not worry about the clutch. Then once you are comfortable with that turn auto clutch off.

That's what I did and now I only race like that.
