Fd 301 Has:

3 degrees of freedom.
2gs of acceleration vertically.
+/-30 degrees of pitch and roll.

2 gs from a "machine" that doesent movea at all is quite a'lot

have u ever been in one of those rollercoaster simulators?? where u see the road o a screen and blabla....well its exactly the same thing only that machines produce more g forces

ithink we cannot compare the frexGP with the fd301....its just not comparable...

you are quite wrong. in a real car the seat is flexible? it can move around? NO. the hole thing its in one piece! the seat, pedals, wheel are all moveing at the same time. when you are buckldup in your seat u dont move very much outside the car's movement, so its wrong for the seat to move and the rest not. Sry if i exagerate, but if u wanna make a real motion simulator (simulates the reality) u got to respect the real thing piece by piece. that's what Force-Dynamics are trying to do and the 301 its a good start

Force dynamics won't make a cheap motionsim. i've read that they want somthing like "perfection". and they are very close! But i'm sure in the future (far future :razz will be a simple and most eficiant way to make one and of course, cheeper. 'till then the people with the big guns have all the fun .

the fully 301 with wheel (pedals and shifter) and screen cost around 24k, but you can buy only the frames, or only the electronics or hole system without the wheel/screen.(that's for 20k ). i think frex is a "little" baby...doesent have much room 2 move....

i've saw a homemade motionsim! a tiny little piece that supriesd me! a simple chair with 2 tiny servo based pistons and a 15inch monitor atached to the end )..., but hey.....it's homemade!

the technology keeps evolving allmost everyday so be sure one day the price wont be a pain in the ass

It's absolutly incredible!! what this guys did is a work of art. For a really high price u can get the full racing experiance at ur home! this is ......... a dream! See for yourself! i have no words left.

incredible work dude! you got some skills i have to admit. i am kinda' like you with the self-moding thing...i'ved transformed my simple 90degrees wheel into an 130degrees + a seqvential shifter 'n + a cluch pedal. no pics cuz lookz ugly (but works fine)! Unfortunetly i dont have the money and the materials to build somthin' like that, but sore got the "skills" Once again Congratulations 4 your work!! ...like a user sad some posts behind..."one lucky bastard"...))))
