For me, it was LFS. Really!
I remember the days when i watched drift videos on youtube and tried to do the same on the XFG at carpark on the demo. I spent nearly 2 weeks trying that before realising it can only be done with an RWD.
LFS brought me into automotive racing, no doubt about that.

Quote from hiroshima guy :If I win the lottery, I would buy a brand new computer, a G25, an iPod and the rest goes to my mum and dad and me very nice bank account although I don't have one.(I'm too young even to buy lottery!)
All pretty similar to Alkanphel, because we are Singaporeans.

Hey hey, I didn't know u were a Singaporean... Why the heck did u put Western Sahara?!

From what i see, people only want new tracks, not necessarily technical or long ones. Of course, content hasn't changed at all besides S1 to S2, and people are getting bored. If the devs are to add tracks, they'll probably release it together with S3, rite? So since there will be new tracks in S3, let's just drop the topic and leave it to the devs to decide what tracks to include in S3. In the meantime, enjoy your 24 pounds of racing goodness.

Quote from zeugnimod :You rarely see him challenge Ferraris and McLarens during races because hes driving BMW and not because of his lack of something.

If he had the car to do it he would challenge them every race and be succesful.

IMO.

Hmm true. But I don't think it's a big difference
With 4 great drivers between them, Ferrari and McLaren have been dominating the podiums. That leaves BMW with only a few points, so I think that's why they are so far behind, in terms of points. Renault and Toyota are horribly inconsistent, btw.

Quote from zeugnimod :You say Heidfeld is not talented and experienced?

I'm not saying that, what I meant was he's not as talented nor as experienced as other top-notched drivers. Not by a huge margin, per se, but u rarely find him challenging the Ferraris and McLarens during races. He's a little like Massa - talented, but lacks the little... something (probably finesse) that will make him as successful as Alonso, Raikkonen, Schumacher and other F1 greats.

Heidfeld has been a decent driver all season, able to challenge McLaren and Ferrari on some occasions. Kubica is extremely talented for a rookie, although overshadowed by Lewis... In all, BMW has been great this season, and the main reason for their inability to be on the podium regularly was the lack of really talented and experienced drivers like Alonso, Raikkonen and of course, Schumacher. If McLaren would be banned for the spy scandal, expect BMW to mount a serious title challenge against Ferrari next season.

Yay for Suzuka! Boo for crash!

Seriously though, the Ferrari crew have only 2 hours to rebuild the F2007. They'll be able to do it, but Kimi's confidence would've been wavering, I don't think he'll do very well in the qualifing round...

Very refined looks, the interior's very driver-oriented, a V10 with a whooping 580HP, sounds good. The rims are nice too. One thing though, the headlamps make it look very 'sleepy' - they look like half-closed eyelids, haha.

Just noticed, the steering wheel is the one used on the R8, interior design is also quite similar to the R8.

Nice. I've been spreading LFS to my mates at school, but it seems that not many people around here are racing enthusiasts.... Oh well...

Quote from Gunn :If you just want an argument, may I suggest a family member?

That was mighty rude... but you're right, scandinavian flick is employed largely in rallying. The rally drivers aren't drifting, though they look like they are. They're... sliding(?) through dirt, that's all. Feint is using inertia and weight to 'pull' the front of the car into the corner and breaking traction from the rear wheels.

Forbin what's your problem with Forza 2? The devs killed your dog?

Forza 2 was also based on simulation, just that it has real cars and upgrades dosen't make it NFS, rite? So if LFS introduced some aero and engine upgrades ur gonna flame it as well?
