So CV1 will have the exact same resolution and refresh rate as HTC Vive. That's rather disapointing, I was expecting the resolution to be as good as Gear VR (2560x1440) or better.
Scawen actually did some improvements for the AI, but it's designed to work with new tyre physics so it won't be released before the new tyre physics patch is out.

There is a 128 characters limit to be exact, that's hardly enough to mention name of the game and genre. It's a pity for the people working on some innovative and complex VR projects. You probably didn't even have enough space to mention that LFS is one of the top rated games on Oculus Share.
Well, good luck. Let us know if you are choosen or not.
I'm also having problems with my GTX 780. It has 1021mhz base clock, but when I start LFS it stays at idle speed which is 324mhz. If I minimize and maximize the LFS window it will bump the clocks to 666mhz and stay there as long as I'm playing. If I'll change the track or go to the pits for a few seconds it will go back to 324mhz and stay there untill I minimize and maximize the game window. See the attachment.
This is the Ferrari of reference coolers, Titan X ($999 card) uses the same cooler. It's whole made out of aluminium, it's very quiet and efficient. Can handle 1500Mhz OC on GPU without problems.
At the beggining of the video it looks like the game is running at ~15fps. Is the new Westhill so much more demanding? Video would be much nicer if recorded at 1080p 60fps.
The track itself is looking great, can't wait to test it!
So I think you should sign up Scawen. You get ~$500 worth of hardware for free and LFS could be one of the few games compatible with Vive at launch day, which would attract ALOT of new players who would potentialy buy a license.
Hey, Victor - sorry to go off-topic again, but Racer X NZ have reminded me about the fact that the new forum is missing one important feature - ignore list. Could you please implement that?
I hope that Oculus and Valve will work together on the software and make it easy for developers to make their games compatible with both headsets and that there won't be any exclusive games. You know like, on consoles - Forza only for Xbox and Gran Turismo only for Playstation.
Relations between Oculus and Valve are good as far as I know. Gabe Newell (co-founder of Valve) even apeared in Rift's Kickstarter video encourging people to support Oculus.
Valve was giving free prototypes of their Steam Machines to beta testers so I wouldn't be surprised if they will be giving their devkits for free to selected developers, expecialy that there is only ~ 6months between devkit and consumer version release so they will have to get as many devs on board as soon as possible, unless they want to release a headset with no games to play on. If you would brag that your game is in top 5 on Oculus Share they would be begging you to take that devkit from them.
Apparently some people prefer to use drugs to visit their own virtual realities full of conspiracies, but lets keep it on topic and stick to head mounted displays.
