It was nice to try something new, but sometimes simpler things are better, and IMHO this is one of those things. Yes, +/-1s can clog up threads and aren't organised, but they make sense, you can agree/disagree, leave a comment with them if you want... and you can't abuse them.

Please let us turn the 'these people said thanks for this post' list off. It's worse than forums that display usernames in-line with posts rather than on the left like like they are here.

Personally I didn't see anything wrong with +1s. They were nice and simple and I had no trouble going through them

Oh no, don't extract the DDS, just put it into the DDS folder. If it's in a zip (or whatever) file then you'll need to extract the DDS from that file

Don't forget to make a backup of the original DDS file. Though it's not the end of the world if you forget because it'll be in the LFS zip file, and if you don't have that you can always download it again.

When I moved from a joystick to my first wheel, a Formula Force GP, and was trying to drive GPL, I wondered if I'd ever be able to control the car with it. I almost went back to the joystick. It sounds so stupid, it's a steering wheel FFS

I watched most of the race. I got from the start to about 6:00am on Sunday, and then had the fatal idea of 'laying down for half an hour.' I woke up at 12:30pm... missed Audi #2 crashing too. Well at least I joined the Motors TV up-all-night club

It was a shame #2 crashed after leading for so long. Oddly I remember thinking earlier, when it came in for a pit stop and the wheel was a little difficult to get on, that it would only take a puncture or a wheel coming off to take them out of the race.

Also a shame about the rain, but what can you do?

What did I read about the 2010 LMP1s? I'm sure they went back on the mantadory closed cockpits because some teams were complaining about how it would cost too much money or something, but I haven't seen anything since.

Didn't the ACO go back on that a while ago? I remember reading about it in Autosport but I can't remember exactly what it said

Have I missed something? Why does the resetting make a difference anyway? The server host can have it turned on, can't it?

TBH I did like being able to reset, without a fixed car or new tyres, in case I did make a mistake. But considering my first sentence above I'm still behind Scawen for the changes, and would be even if he decided to remove the option completely. It IS a racing simulator

That is Area 51. It's no secret, in fact apparently it was never even classified. You can go up the surrounding hills and see it with binoculars or a telescope. And if you happen to visit Las Vegas McCarran Airport, have a look for the 737s with no livery at all except a red stipe. Those are the 'Janet' planes which are taking workers to/from the base. Really.

Have a look at Dreamland Resort for some fascinating information and photos. It's a nice level-headed site, it's not about aliens and secret underground bases and crap.
