Only Scavier know, and unless one of them drops a hint, this will just be another month of 100% unfounded speculation.

It's an obvious answer - but forget about it. Then if something does come, you'll be twice as happy, rather than twice as disappointed if it doesn't.

Using a flash disk is a great idea. Then as well as running an up to date version, you'd have no risk of IT support suddenly deciding to delete it as it isn't school stuff.

I suppose that it might be a problem if LFS writes to disk a lot. But then again, I ran Firefox off a flash disk every day at college for two years and it still works fine, and that's a cheapie 128 MB one off of eBay

I would love to see a Champcar in LFS, especially if/when street circuits get bumpier. If you've watched from the on-board camera on one, you'll know why. It looks... quite fun! I love the BF1 but Champcars just seem so much more 'alive'

Yes, but (and of course I can only speak for myself...) it was simply because it was forced. I am worried because if the STCC system became the norm, then what if it was difficult to find a good server which didn't use it? It would be as good as being forced again...
