I had an awesome high SOF Jetta race last night, Laguna seems well suited to tin top racing. 7th to 3rd including one of the best overtaking moves ive ever made in iRacing.
The announcement of the new fast track licence thingy is really kicking up a **** storm. Personally i feel its a bit harsh on the pro drivers especially when they pick up random 4x points just from racing close. iRacing need to fix the contact system before raising the bar.
Yeah that was good race, that one guy kept getting ahead & then binning it, he was full on through the corners but still managed to recover the lost time demoting me back to 3rd.
I started to fade a bit in the latter stages coming very close to an off, made me back off a bit. The last two laps you were right on me, that chequered flag could not come soon enough.
@ Mille, Smith was not successful on the last lap he got his just deserts in T1. Ya Jetta racing allows for some rubbing only giving 1x for light contact.
OT: I think its a government incentive for lazy people on low incomes to get off their backsides & use there legs. Its quite a privilege to be able to use the roads without being taxed, taxed & taxed again.
As the *** purposely slammed his brakes on you should have just vented your anger on the back end of his car, dented all his panels & ridden off. (hoping he didn't catch your reg)
Well you missed the Mini Action day @ Combe yesterday then. Redditch mini club went as did my bro's with their mates. I wanted to go but i dont have a mini & they would not confirm if there would any non mini sessions that day.
Nor would they sell me an advanced ticket, bit of a downer tbh.
On topic i hillclimb my fiesta & sometimes my dads classic formula ford.
I also have a very good idea that will benefit the LFS community. If im to late dont worry but if you have time it would be a nice site to build & be proud of.
Looks like we will be getting Brands & Zandvort before Christmas . A physics update for the mazda would be nice, i have heard a few stories about funny handling mazdas.
