Correct. Only SHIFT+P/S or intentional disconnects while an other team member (or a quick reconnect of the same driver) is exiting the pits will be penalized with a + 1 lap (The latter case will most likely be penalized a lot harder, but that scenario has never happened until now).
The 18 car made avoidable contact while 29 left room on the left side. This resulted in a spin for 29 that cost them considerable time. Car 18 will be assessed a DT penalty for this infraction.
Read the rules, Ben, read the rules:
'Teams can run an unlimited amount of laps during these sessions, but may only have one car on the track at all times. The fastest lap of the team counts for the starting positions.'
Ergo, it is allowed to have multiple drivers qualify, as long as both cars are not simultaniously on the track.
Currently there is still room for 4 racers at StreetStock cup (28 racers total now) and room for 13 racers for the BF1 sprintrace (19 racers in total now).
I partly disagree. I just think its 2 ways:
1. No teams are allowed on the same channel
2. All teams are allowed on the same channel. In this case the team leaders will be muted, to prevent unnecessary discussions. This way does give each team the opportunity to have real time info.
Note (1) that discussions are ought to be dealt with afterwards through a clearly defined procedure for protests (I've PM-ed DWB a suggestion for that on AIM).
Note (2) the key of this discussion is no teams or all teams, not some teams.
Not sure what 'facts' you're talking about. I merely gave a description about what happened, which is nothing different from what is stated here by Benji en DWB: I saw Bigtime getting a flat in T1, I notified Benji, Benji made the call to send out the SC and there I went.
What I see here is a discussion about the reasoning of sending out the SC (which Benji described here) and has nothing to do with my description of how it went.
Please refrain from altering my words or putting them in a different context as a support for any conspiracy making. If I have something to say, I'll say it myself. Thank you.
I would not have to add the latter, but apparently you guys removed my access to that topic so I cannot clarify things myself but instead you guys are placing my description in wrong context on a public forum. I personally did not expect this from a team with older guys...
From what I have understand the goal of this league was to get as close to reality as possible.
Coming from Europe and thus being able to compare, this platform (LOTA is more than just a league) is certainly one of the best well organized platforms I've been working with and a great meeting place for all LFS fans (both starters and experienced racers).
Simple, your onboard graphic card is just too slow (and limited) to actually play games with. Your current fps is for ~99% based on your cpu. Overclocking of your graphic card may make a (small) difference, but generally spoken: that graphic card is unable to deal with games.
O btw about the cpu usage: LFS is a single thread game and thus only uses 1 core. Basically it is using 1 core for 100% and the other core for ~0% (depending on other processes running).
