I don't really know, but you missed the whole point. On a track, lighter car with higher power to weight ratio will achieve greater speed in a shorter distance, thus going faster over a bump to get airborne.
Anyway...
We did LX8 event some time ago. It was unbelievable frekking mad. The tweak was a bit crude but close as possible to the original and had slicks. It's really quite a ride down the streets of Southcity. You have to be alert all the time, the smallest mistake and you are in a wall, think anything but the driving and you are off. It's more intense than the FO8 and BF1 put together and fueled with solid dynamite.
But oh, when you got it right it was the best fun ever!
Well, more important is the fact that the games are optimized to run on that specific hardware setting/combination. On a PC you need to make compromises because there is infinite combination of different components you can find in a computer. On a console system you know it will work on any Xbox or PS3 if it works on one, and therefore it's possible to optimize the code to get the best out of the hardware.
Why people think he has spent 25 millions buying it? It may be the current value of the car, but doesn't mean the owner bought it for that money. Value of luxury products and antiques goes up and down like the economy and I guess the value of that is only going up in the future. In a way it's a great investment, especially if he bought it for pennies. Besides, whatever he paid for it, is only money. If I had to kill for a car like that, I'd say it wasn't worth it, but if it's just money and you got loads of it why not? Sure there is faster and less expensive cars made with high tech materials and science, but that car is just pure sex on wheels.
Really nice it's used for what it was meant to do. Got to say the owner got balls, I'd probably keep it locked away as I'd be too afraid scratching it.
Just went trough this thread, what a classic, laughing my sides off. I wish we still had JTbo, Kev and Hyper on board, good times.
Forgot you were planning to move to Kerava..well, I'd still avoid it. But of course having the shops near is relevant for old people if you were not planning to drive much. But the views are just miserable in cities.
Well, keep it for a week then? If there is no demands, like being owner of the vehicle for the last 6 months, you should go for it. You could always play dump with an accent and say ye just herd of thay scheme. If they start asking questions, if you have glasses, loose them because they make you look too smart.
That's because you are a pro snob with an excellent camera and gear who can just up the ISO if there is not enough light without almost no added noise?
To get the most out of the low end cameras you need lowest ISO every time, and if you can use 200 instead of 400 the VR is worth it if you hate noise. Especially at longer focal distances shooting small targets or if you need larger f-value. Of course, even a monopod makes VR obsolete most of the time, but it's not as handy.
I'm guessing Ferrari is on conservative heavy fuel load again. Which doesn't work if you don't have a quick car, but they just don't realize it. Even less if it rains because the front just runs away.
Good job from Kovi being just behind Ham with all the new parts.
What if you bought some small car (that makes that 18 mpg) crap car for pennies and traded that for the scrap money? Or are they all just gone, or is there something stopping people doing this?
No sorry, I have to disagree. The rallyx was a brilliant idea, a small revolution of it's own. It just happened that the drivers were not up to it and rallycross means banger racing in LFS (thank you CTRA?), but we didn't get the memo which said that.
Well, that's the thing. New set of three Kenko AF-S compatible rings (36mm, 20mm and 12 mm) retails around 150€, I could get it with around 110, but it's still a lot of money I'd probably have more use for other more important things.
Reversing rings seems to be about 35 €, but I think it could be a bit off a hassle.
It's taken with the D60 kit Nikon DX 18-55 VR 1:3.5-5.6G at 55 mm. I think I also had CPL on with that shot, I was trying to experiment with it and see how it works with drops. Well, you can't see our house in the drop, so I guess it worked.
Thanks for the comments guys.
I'm thinking of getting a extension tube set, but I wonder if they are worth the money for the lens.
Well I don't know really. It was the strangest thing. It might been I pulled out of the split stream with too quick move. All I remember was that suddenly the car steered very heavily to the left. I guess I over corrected and it went to the right out of control. When it started to slide my first thought was the tires so I guess I tried to stop the slide and preserve my tires and not just stop the car. But It really got me off guard, don't know if the heavier car had anything to do with it. Must have been the most terrible mistake I've ever done.
Sorry for everyone I hit there. Was a rubbish race onwards from that, as you can see I had to pit twice, it was just plain terrible.
Race 1 was good for me, well, apart from those flying cars that hit me off the track. But climbed few positions after that, so it wasn't that bad compared to the second race.
:eye-poppi
That is really weird, your rig is more powerful than mine, but I can run it no problems with 1920x1200 with low AA&AF and medium/low graphic settings.
But yeash, not sold on the game yet. Don't have so much extra money to spare, so I'll wait for some updates and pick it up cheap from some bargain bin at 19 euros.
Main fault for me is the dumb AI team mates who just get killed all the time.
