Good god I hate these designs. They absolutely ruin the intrinsically beautiful lines of the cars and bring to mind the dazzle camouflage used on naval ships in WW1. Yeuch.

I have to disagree strongly about ignore lists not solving problems. I generally give people a few chances but if they consistently spout inane or inflammatory drivel, onto the list they go. It makes for a much more pleasant forum reading experience. If I'm missing the odd pearl of wisdom, so be it - I'm not willing to wade through pools of mental diarrhea for the sake of an occasional gem.

How big is your ignore list?
After adding another person to my ignore list today, I noticed that my list now weighs in at a mighty 58 users. That means I have more people in my ignore list in this one forum than in every other forum that I've ever been a member of combined.
Because it works well enough 99.5% of the time. If you were to have the devs remove everything in the game that doesn't work 100% properly 100% of the time, you'd be left with what? You certainly wouldn't have any tyres. Nor would you have a chassis, or any bodywork, or an engine, or a transmission. You'd basically be left sitting on your arse on the grid with a disembodied steering wheel in your hands and a horn laying forlornly on the ground beside you.
The driver wasn't racing and wasn't involved in the street race. Apparently, tyre smoke from the street racers obscured visibility which meant that the driver couldn't see the crowd which had spilled out onto the highway to watch the race. Now, you can certainly argue that the driver should have slowed down when they saw the tyre smoke and that if they had been traveling more slowly they would have been able to react in time to avoid plowing into the crowd. However, based on what appears to have happened, my view is that the driver isn't really culpable and that those who died were killed more by their own stupidity than by the driver's recklessness.

I have or have had just about every racing game released for the PC in the last 12 years. I recently had to reformat my hard drive. The only games I bothered to reinstall are RBR, netKar PRO and LFS.
Yes, The Thin Red Line it is. It wasn't very well received when it was released - I think people were expecting/hoping for it to be another Saving Private Ryan - but it's one of my favourite films.

Yes, 'A Clockwork Orange' is correct. David Prowse, an ex-weightlifting champion who had a minor role as a bodyguard in A Clockwork Orange, went on to play Darth Vader in Star Wars.
Some hints: it's from 1971, it was directed by a critically acclaimed director, an actor who would go on to play a leading role in Star Wars just 6 years later has a minor part and it is notorious for a scene in which the main protagonist commits a violent act while singing a cheery song.
