Just installed U20...VERY nice work, love the track selection screen and all the added functions.

Everything works fine so far

Maybe there could be a checkbox when viewing user stats so we could leave oval stuff (laps+distance) out.

The way rFactor handles them looks nice: overall view of the track with the selected layout highlighted, and then a few small screenshots of that particular layout.

Well if any of you want to check out how much grip their tires have, I definitely recommend NOT to do it in any public spaces.

When I had my old Renault 5 I lost the back once and did a reaaaally long slide. Sadly I didnt straighten wheel fast enough after counter steering and I ended up parked facing the wrong way after doing a 180º...I wasnt scared because no one was going behind me, but feeling the rear end starting to go its own way in a two lane street corner is not fun at all...

BTW that was back in 2003 when I was still playing Sports Car GT, Im sure if S2 had been out by that time I would have saved it clean lol

I have to agree in this last one, Q always starts in the pits, not with all cars magically placed around the track.

We are talking about bytes anyway...and I really doubt anyone adds so many comments that they increase the size of the source dramatically hehe.

BTW I work as C# programmer so depending on the task and available time I may be able to give a hand. You know where to find me (#69 )

Quote from Dygear :Let's not forget the source code file is smaller too. As 1 tab is equal sometimes to about 8 spaces.

Compiler gets rid of any blanks or comments, so this doesnt affect the size of the output in any way.

Ahhh the DB9. Love that car! And the devs must love it too, because we all drive in an "Aston" often lol

For me this is one of the worse flaws of the physics engine by far, whatever is causing it. Its just unbelievably unreal (and annoying) to end up like this just because the side of the car scrapped the side of the wall

Just think twice before getting it - multiplayers isnt enabled.

Quote from Cue-Ball :The lag doesn't happen if the cars all go of their own accord. It only seems to happen when the start lights go out.

Try this: Start a race with 6+ people. Tell everyone NOT to go on the green light, but to wait for a chat message instead. When you send the chat message and everyone goes, there's no lag. It apparently has something to do with everyone being "allowed" to go at once.

Hmmm then my money goes on that its not latency what its causing the delay at starts. I mean, what causes lag is having so many cars so close to each other, all of them starting to moving at the same time, and most probably not in straight line and at different speeds. The host trying to sync all this madness is overwhelmed and this causes start-lag.

Not having it going at a chat message instead of green makes me think its not connection related, but somehow I doubt its fault of the test patches.

I cant see how this could fix the lag.
