Sorry if I could be seen as 'feeding the fire' but that's not an IPS. I have one and just tried looking at it from those angles in the pic and the picture never changed, not bright at an angle or dark.

I'll shut up now

Quote from TamelCoe :Get amd card. Nvidia drivers are pretty much ****ed up right now on all 500 serie cards. Last 3 drivers has been shit and the 4th and later has huge loss in performance.

Been using 275 drivers, haven't had an issue with them.Maybe I'm lucky.

He probably had it on the lowest resistance.

i'm using this in my pc, runs great if there's any problem with the order

It comes out from the cpu about 3-4 inches, so make sure you have the width to fit it, its pretty big. It does have a backplate, but its really easy to mount it, you won't even need to remove the old one.

Quote from eddy678 :Look beaver I think WKD needs some changes.

1: (Some) Admins need to be kinder IMO.

Thanks.

I'd say ALOT kinder/less power abusive as me and a whole bunch of people got banned for no reason one night (was about a month or two ago), we were on TS as well and got perm banned from both. I did nothing wrong, no ramming/abuse. Just driving.

If you care to spend the extra get the Dell U2711, the picture will amaze you and you'll never want to go back to a TN again.

The resolution on it is alot better than the other 4 monitors you mentioned in the first post and it scales 1080p really well if you want to stick with that resolution while you upgrade your graphics to utilise the whole 2560x1440 resolution, plus its 16:9 so tv or other media will show properly. Its a 10 bit (or 30 bit?; See P-IPS) IPS panel with display port, hdmi (w/ 3.5mm output 5.1), dvi (x2) and vga. It also has 4x USB 2.0 and a card reader on the left side.

Quote from E.Reiljans :No that's the figure of THD being 10%.

And so are a number of HTIB's, what's your point?

I don't really notice any distortion anyway, so they're fine for what I want them for.

Quote from E.Reiljans :what a waste of a great TI PCM1794 DAC. Seriously, there's no difference between onboard card and a $200 PCIe card if you're using optical output. :|
+ Z5500 is crappiest speaker set I've ever heard in my whole life.

I'm using 3.5mm for a headset as well, I just didn't think it was all that necessary. The headset I have is a Sennheiser PC350.

That's your opinion of them

If I can find some more desk space, I'll consider getting another U2711 and get about 5120x1440, It should run fine with 2 470's, b\however I'll have to turn it down on games like GTA4 and Crysis (maybe 2).

I've had that problem with recording, all I did to fix it was turn off AA and my fps shot up over 100.

if you want to use all that 4GB you'll need 64 bit and xp x64 was crappy, so your only choice is Windows 7 (not that it's a bad thing).

I'll be getting another GTX 470 on wednesday. I need more power to run my monitors 2560x1440 resolution and yes I play more than LFS.

Way to hijack a thread kaamikazii.

Are you still in warranty? I'd contact Logitech, tell them about your problem and wait for them to send you another one. You may also be asked to 'destroy' your old one so that they know you can't use it for a while (in case you can get it working later).

Every time I clean my pots I've used WD40 and the spiking goes away for at least a few months. I just pull the panel off the underside of the pedals, spray the pots a bit, give them some travel with my hands and then screw it back up and the pedals feel like new again.

In case you didn't realise, editing vob files in your veh folder is illegal, most servers won't allow the use of such mods, so don't be surprised if you get banned the instant they find out. Mods aren't to be discussed here either.

Also, IBTL.
