Try using 16bit instead of 32bit. That doubled my fps when recording.

AI have never been able to drive through the pit lane, as far as I know. The only difference is that qualifying used to start on the track: now everyone starts in the pits.

I've had my first real try at modelling a car. I downloaded ZModeler this morning and read some tutorials to get the basics, so now I've begun work on a Porsche 962. I chose this because it's a relatively simple shape, especially the flat sides, and I just think it's a great looking car. Here's what I've done so far:

That's about right, except the "maybe take that turn a little slower next time.." didn't kick in until about lap 4. I have videos of pile-ups that happened several times after the initial incident.
