South City and Fern bay, the rest of tracks reminds me one of my trip in train i was riding train for 3 straight days and scenery behind the windows was always the same:
Field,Small Village,Wood,Field,Small Village,Wood,Field,Small Village,Wood,Border
When it comes to steering I connected my PS2 controller and it does pretty good job when it comes to applying throttle or braking.
You can try still cheaper than wheel.
As for me the game is just boring visually and there is not enough tracks.
If you look at it almost every track is green its just grass and trees and nothing more Kyoto, westhil and aston looks just like different layout of blackwood.
I know LFS is online racing simulator but I am more into offline racing my fav times with gran turismo were taking some slow car like citroen 2cv/golf GT/daiahtsu etc etc on the nurburgring and drive it for pure pleasure of dirving.
Now in lfs the track looks so boring that after driving blackwood with lx6 or raceabout and turning to aston I dont see any difference.
The same boring look just killing the fun after 20 of laps even if you switch to kyoto it still look like layout of aston in some way.
Even abandoned vilages in stalker have more live in them than tracks in LFS
And I am not talking bout graphics cuz with new textures its look pretty nice and with lynx reflection my FZ5 looksl beautiful with custom 2048^ skin but I am talking bout placing more objects or making tracks surrounding looks more interesting.
The making of new custom object its usually a couple of hours mesh and texture.
I would do it my self but it would be moding which is a forbidden, bannable etc etc.
I personally prefer to drive poorly made port of Silverstone or laguna seca than aston for 100th time.
As for now in LFS physics is the only thing worth mentioning but without anything else its just getting boring.

You get it wrong.
If you pay you will be able to see other ppls skins in 1024x1024 if you dont pay it will be 512x512.
If you want to upload your skin you save skin in 1024x1024 and upload it to lfs world in 1024^ resolution.
PPl who payed for skins will see your skin in 1024^ the rest of the ppl who didnt pay will see it in 512^
If you put your skin in 2048^ in your skin folder you will see your skin in 2048 in offline and online but it will be only for you.
The rest of the ppl will see skin you uploaded in 1024^ and skin names must be the same as in your skin folder.

No I wouldn't pay more.
There is only 3 man team and only one man do coding stuff (I read something like this).
It wouldn't make them work faster and if it would, then it would mean that slow development speed never was a result of not enough manpower or perfectionism but just laziness.
Anyway LFS just doesn't have enough content to be worth more than it worth now.
Even if they add one car new physics and one track it still be just game with nice physics but nothing more.
The tracks are plain and flat, there is no basic thing that suppose to be in real sim like damage system or different weather (To implement weather system some ppl say it need a total code rewriting so if they start rewriting code it will take another few years)
And the worst thing they didn't even make use of what they have now for example the graphics are good, cars look beautiful with lynce reflections and good skins, much better than "Gran Turismo 4" or "rFactor" but since no one spend enough effort to make use of it almost every track is boring when it comes to surrounding.
So even if it have better graphics than rFactor or GT4 its still look worse, boring and without immersion.
Wasted potential if you ask me.
The thing that makes me laugh is the fact that first driver on PSX have decent looking rain and night, now i wonder how much worse LFS engine that they cant make a rain or night, even if it only visual.

I often posted about how it is boring to drive the same few tracks in the same few cars.
Here is my experience with rFactor.
At first it was quite interesting, the graphics though I prefer in LFS its more realistic IMHO.
A lot of cars and tracks its plus for rFactor.
But when I installed 30 Gigs of cars and tracks which were rated as totally awesome and you know what.
Only few mods are really good almost every car is behave almost the same.
Of course there is LFS is spoiled fun a little for me because when ever i made turn in rFactor i couldn't get pas the fact that in lfs you feel the suspension tyres and the car is more live like.
So basically it ends up in comparing physics in rFactor and LFS and LFS kinda pointing all the flaws in physics of rFactor.
In rFactor all cars have somehow very stiff suspension and a lot of cars are drive just like on the rails, like they have no mass.
I uninstalled it because i find it not realistic enough like LFS and somehow I can afford 30 gigs of HDD but I felted like it kinda wasted space, a lots of mods are not done really well when it comes to physics.
Tracks thought are made rather well.

If you race you don't need a horn at all but if you run from the police you would appreciate siren instead of WIUWIUWIU.
Racers don't use horns at all and especially #6 but they will bash your idea anyway.
Better download siren and replace it manually because I doubt devs will ever do it.
