Quote from DeadWolfBones :It's a very nice golf course and does host a PGA event, but it's not that nice.

Almost like Indy itself. Very nice, and it hosts (or rather, used to host) a Formula One race, but it's not that nice.

Thanks for the help chaps. Either way, I'm in my twenties, so no need to worry about age limits

I'm not! You put forward a suggestion. You can't put something forward without expecting agreement and/or criticsm!

Or... you could watch The Quick and The Dead, instead.

You know that the phrase 'proper English', is actually poor English?

I raced the new circuit on F1 Challenge (I've a modded Hungarian '07 version - don't ask), and I hate it. I can't believe that Suzuka was forsaken for that!

Quote from deggis :It's slightly similar with Lausitzring/Eurospeedway too.

I reckon that'd be fun in an LX6

Quote from Blackout :Interesting. Was thinking how mad it would be if they drove bikes around ovals yesterday while watching the 250 cc race from Sunday.

Well, something's gotta race there. Indy was unusual, and provided some decent races, but it was painful to see the cars going around that tight section. And no, I'm not keen on that antiquated circuit called Monaco either.

Quote from gohfeld23 :One thing that works for me is streightening the wheel and floor it, even in corners. I know it sounds insane but it works (not sharp corners, obviously).

Does that not destroy your tires? Thankfully, I'm getting better with tire wear, but even so, surely your rears will take a pounding?

Must admit, I've called the missus 'Mum' a few times. I swear, it's not the onset of some dodgy fantasy.

Quote from Mravac Kid :A word of advice:
I missed a chance to get LFS back when S1 came out, and I'm still without a license... don't let that happen to you. Get it while you can.
If you love realistic racing, you *can't* get better than LFS.

... my join date clearly states how long it's been... :-/

You could always get S2 now?

Quote from Strummer :Do you have to actually go down pit-lane? Can you just hit esc and chose "pit" while driving? I did this and it brought me straight to the pits..without going to pitlane. I hope that the devs make so that you actually do have to go down pit-lane and make a 15-18 second stop...and actually tell the crew what you want...like tires, fuel, wedge, camber adjust, tire pressure adjust..etc. It would be more realistic..and really should not require too much extra coding...most of its there now. Keep up the good work everyone..just got the license last week.and I really enjoy it.

Cheers
STRUM

Hi Strum,

Drive into the pit lane, come to a halt in one of the boxes painted in front of any of the open garages (it's good etiqutte to stop at one of the last ones), and the crew will work on the car. Adjustments can be made beforehand by pressing F12, and changing your settings. Once the stop is complete, just accelerate away...

Quote from Zachary Zoomy :Peace car:

Stop taking photos of my lovemobile

When you see the Yellow Flag warning pop up, be vigilant, be prepared to slow down. It may of course denote a hazard off the course, a hazard on the racing surface itself, or a hazard that wholly or partly blocks the racing surface. This informs the driver to prepare to stop, if necessary.

So take it easy - just use a bit of common
