Its come down to 2 options...

Either the gamecom 367 (closed ear) or the gamecom 377 (open ear). The open ear is slightly more expensive.

My brother reckons he read an article that said surround sounds headsets are not all that... They recommended taking the extra money and rather getting a decent set? And so the debate contiinues.

Im planning on making a proper LFS comeback. Been so busy with real life racing and work this year. Now that things are slowing down im starting to find time again for fun things!

What good stuff is going around at the moment. Im busy looking at the gamecom 367 (closed ear) and 377 (open ear) and the Zalman ZM-RS6F Real Surround Sound Headphones. They all a real similar price.

Any ideas on which to go for, or even somehting else that I havent included

I recently bought a full hd tv. My plan was to buy a blueray player in order to use the Full HD to its potential. Once i started pricing them, i decided that it was a much better idea to rather buy a ps3 which wasnt much more expensive.

So cut a long story short, someone who worked for my company (i never met them), has now landed a job with "who knows who" and sent an email saying they can get the ps3 (80Gb) with 2 games and 2 duel shock 3 controllers.

BUT - the 2 games are "Gears of War 2" and "Gran Turismo 5".

As far as i know, Gears of War 2 is exclusively an XBox 360 game and has not yet been released on ps3???

In addition, isnt GT5 prologue the current game, GT 5 has not yet been released???

Please can someone help... I dont wanna give my money away to a scam..

Description He got a run on me and when i defended, refused to change direction or lift, instead he punted me in the left rear corner causing me to have a serious "tank slapper" all the way down the main straight. I dont think this was necesary, especially considering it was before T1.

No offence, but it was pretty impossible to even think of catching the moment, let alone with 13 stitches in my hand and wrist from a stupid moment earlier in the week.

Decision

This is a racing incident, nothing more.

Dizzydarryn moves to block RRT RABBIT and they end up touching. RRT RABBIT, for his part, should have either drove closer to the wall to try to pass, or backed away. Dizzydarryn should have realized how close RRT RABBIT was in his mirrors and kept on his original line. He had already moved left to block another driver, and then moved right to execute this manoeuvre.

Both drivers need just a little more awareness.

No penalty.

Race 1 --> HUGE ACcident
Race 2 --> tagged at the start and then my wheel came lose from my table...
Race 3 --> absolute carnage on the restart. i got hit so hard from the back, that i almost went throught the car in front of me...

So after a great qualifying (by my standings considering the lack of LFS ive had this past week), i qualified somewhere in the top 10. A fairly neat first start and first lap, untill i got caught up in the leaders accident. i tboned someone at full speed, flipped about a zillion times and ended up out.

A real bad experience, the only good thing, is that if it was real life, I'D BE DEAD!!!! INSTANTLY

So, im the first one to be out of race of the champiosnhip, so i figured i might as well make the post race post...

ok, just so i have this straight.

Yesturday i bought a 40inch LCD full HD TV (Samsung 5 series). This morning i am going to buy a DVI (graphics card) to HDMI (for the TV side) cable. If i do this, i will be able to use it as a monitor for my PC???? As opposed to using the little analogue cable (VGA) that came with my graphics card thatll plug into both my card and my TV?

What impact will it have if my graphics card (Nvidia Geforce 8600GT) says HD ready on the back. Does it just mean that if i buy a TV card i will only be able to get HD ready resolutions?? and no more impacts?

I do use my phone for work quite a bit, in terms of syncing emails and contacts, calendars etc. Due to the nature of the job, we also spend quite alot of time at clients with no internet connection, and instead of getting a 3g card, i use the phones modem to dial up thru my laptop so all of the above are pretty important.

I would be too interested in a blackberry though, cause syncing email is only to have offline access, i wouldnt want people getting hold of me via email 24/7.

In addition, i do have an 8gig ipod touch and in a way, that is convincing me to both get the iphone, but also not get it (because i love the features, but i have the ipod already if you know what i mean).

anyone with any opinions on the Omnia, I hear its brilliant, cept that its screen is poorly lit in sunlight and its a tad slow. but it is rated higher than the iphone and the diamond on just about every site ive been on...

haha, quite entertaining, but staying on point. Nokia n95 is amazing phone, but old. and i kinda wanna go for touch screen at the mo. the n97 looks awesome, but isnt gonna be released in south africa for quite a while.

WRT the iphone, is ur phone cracked? because im getting it on contract and its therefore not cracked. Ive heard this makes quite a difference, cause ive gotta now buy everything off itunes instead of being able to just search and download of the net?
