hey guys, also a super newbie on LFS, had it for bout a week, race with DFP (bought on saturday). Super keen on this sort of thing, i see season 2 starts nov... how much is happen before then, relating to this beginners cup...

If anyone has a skin of a Nissan 350Z for the Z250, that would also be awesome but now i know im pushing my luck

lol... but LFS is something else to learn so im starting low down! i drove the Z250 yest for the first time, very similar to the car i race in S.A Production cars (touring cars), strangely enough!

anywayz, only been racing on CTRA and u gotta start XFG to get points dont u... lol, a laugh anywayz

wow guys, this is quite intense. i have just bought the DFP (sat) and the thought of H & T hasnt even crossed my mind. Just to get it straight, those of you that are H & T, are you using auto clutch or are you using one of the buttons as a clutch?

I tried my wheel out last night for the first time with a rear wheel drive and really struggled on the down change... but with auto clutch, seems as tho you'll have to be pretty damn exact to get the H & T right without accelerating through your braking point, thereby lengthening your braking zone?!?!

Or am i missing something?

Im so stupidly useless at these skins. Please could someone help me with a skin for an XFG. ive attatched pics of my race car (i just want the colours and the logo's if possible).

The helmet is the same left and right with my name on both sides. Ive also attatched a big of the back of the helmet.

yeah absolutely. you're always fastest when you're having fun. there are some seriously fast ppl around. i played abit on normal servers last night and i was like 2s off the pace consistantly, even with what i was told was a good setup...

I think ill have alot to learn bout setup etc, in my racing ive got my own race engineer for that sort of thing. thats the other reason y i cant wait to get into this, im hoping itll teach me a bit more about car setup!

i have got access to a microphone, at the moment its hooked up to my brothers computer but he wont mind if i steal it for a while. maybe sometime tomorrow.

im at work at the mo so im just day dreaming bout racing. ill take all the help i can get. cause at the moment, im not sure if there many ppl slower than i am

yeah ill do that. dont wanna join any serious stuff yet in case of bumping and all that. im also playing with a really crappy wheel, ordered the DFP so that should make things a bit easier. also trying to learn the tracks. its really an awesome game. I race cars in real life and im very impressed with how realistic the game is...

oh man, i feel so stupid, i installed the demo onto work pc and havent unlocked it on this computer yet.

agh brilliant, thanks. however, it now asks me for a game password... any ideas where to find it? all i want to do it create a CTRA password so i can log in on the website

ok, please help, still trying to connect to a CTRA server, but when i click on join server, it goes straight to a "webiste cannot be displayed" page... no idea why, i dont have firewalls or anything of that sort?

do i need to install any add ons or anything along those lines to get onto the CTRA servers?

thanks for that. i hadnt heard of the site before. i have tried to log into one of the servers to create a password but i cant seem to get it right? any tips?
