A Lap in an XRT is around 14-15 seconds in an XRT (2L Saloon Class)

Hello Guys! Just an update.

The server now boasts 3 unique tracks, each with their own character. Ive ironed out some issues with Airio due to my mistake, and i have added some new racing classes. Meaning the sever now boasts 29 Combinations of Tracks and vehicles, with a few novelty races thrown in.

A few people have mentioned there is to many objects. The tracks are detailed, and even for there small size, they feature 700-800 objects, to which approx 50% of them are visible at any time.

Its mega fun, the racing is short and close. it makes for some spectacular battles!

On some cruise servers, they have a box on the center right which displays infomation, its this kind of box i am after, and if possible for it to detect which cars are loaded?

Spent nearly 3 hours testing it and it works fine!

My next question is...

Is it possible to add a new Window/ Buttont that is shown all the time?

I want to add a window, that when certain vehicles are being used, it displays a message the entire lenght of the race. OR is shown during the race start countdown sequence.

Is this possible?

I fixed my issue!

I entered the code as you quoted, Track was AU1 with LX6, No matter how many races i did, it wouldnt /End and start with AS1/UF1.

I solved the problem, by Changing the track and car to AS1 and UF1 Manually using server commands. Hey presto, Finished the lap and it rotated! I tested this over and over and it works flawlessly, even with a single driver

It seems i must put it on track before it rolls along it!

Having no luck with the rotation, even with 3-4 guys on the server

It seems the 500Servers Airio is running an older version, Mine doesnt even have the "# Number of races after which to rotate tracks by ending race - integer" Bit!

I feel like such a fool!

Got a weird issue with my Server.

The server is currently hosted by 500servers.

When the server is empty, The server cannot be seen in the hosts list (But the server is Active)

Ive i manually input my server name in the "Join Server" option, I can join the server fine.

Once im in the server, the server then becomes visable in the hosts list.

It seems, the server needs atleast 1 active joiner before the server is visable?

Next issue Guys. I want to rotate my server through several track and vehicle combinations.

I have it set as follows, and it doesnt seem to be working.


Basically, I want my server to rotate Layouts and cars every 15-20 Minutes. Or every 4-5 Races (The races are 4 minutes long, maximum)

What am i doing wrong?

(I have 9 Configurations in total that i want it to cycle through)

Websites im having issues with, Some recent ones ive been trying to access

eBay.co.uk
Driftworks.co.uk
POcruise.com

The websites just hang, on a constant Loading status. However, i can visit other websites during thise time (Including Random ones i dont have Cookies or Temp files for) and they all load absolutly fine.

During this time, i can visit these troublesome websites on another device, connected through the same network. And they load fine! whilst on my main PC, the websites do not load, even after refreshing and reloading.

Another thing worth noting (Which i should have) is that my PC is the only one in the household to be connected to the router via a ethernet cable. All other devices are connected wirelessly.

Ive got an issue my My PC, it doesnt load certain websites fully, and they are not useable.

Easy example is eBay, It doent load fully, doesnt load all the infomation and the buttons fully. So the website is unusable.

It loads fine on all other PC's in the household, Including my iPhone through the same network. Its just my PC.

I Disabled/ Unistalled all Firewall etc, Which didnt solve the issue.

Any thoughts?

I think your bang on there....Looking at it, with both monitors on. my main one gets all the artifacts, the other doesnt. Looks like a new monitor is needed!

On for hours or just a few minutes. Browsing, just staring at my wallpaper, or even in Word. No error messages.

Recently new GPU, Cooling and Ram.

No Errors or anything. It works fine. But the fact that its doing it its bugging me that something is wrong.

The reason for the cooling upgrade. is that the CPU was reaching is 95c Emergency Shutdown Threshold whilst editing Raw HD Footage. This happened 3 Times (Until i figured why the PC Was Shutting Down)

I had OC'd both the CPU to 3.3 after the cooling upgrade, and OC'd the GPU slightly, Ive since backed off back to stock, and the artifacts still exist.

If anything, they are getting more and more frequent.

Any thoughts?

I have a quad core AMD 3ghz and 4GB ram. The he'd is about 8 yes old at a guess. Only 250gb

I'm using full 1080 HD video I take from my holidays and trackdays. Converted from ADHVC Mp4


The real time preview is jerk free. But becomes jerky on export.

I first found that i need 2 Dedicated HDD's, Great i though, sounds simple enough.

All i need, is one to read from, and one to write too. with the OS etc, on a 3rd HDD.

Sounds simple to me. Then after some more reading, people were discussion RAID etc, this is what confused me, Do i need it? Or can i plug in 2 new drives and be fine?

Ive been doing alot of video editing recently, to my frustration, all my exports/ renders are very jerking during Pan shots. This improves when the video size/ quality is reduced. But whats the point?

Ive done a quick search, and it appears i need 2 seperate, Dedicated HDD's. 1 HDD for the content and for the Editing program to read from, and another for it to write/ export the data too. (And a 3rd for General OS etc) as when exporting, the drive is reading and writing the video, whilst doesnt stuff in the background.

Now, theres alot of talk of RAID in these threads. Basically, its confused the hell out of me.

Basically, Heres what im looking at.

HDD 1 = 250GB
HDD 2 = 80GB (Video Storage and Read)
HDD 3 = 80GB (Video Export and Write)

do i "NEED" this RAID Stuff? Is it not as simple, as plug the buggers in and get editing? is RAID needed? Can i just plug 2 additional drives in without any additional work needed?
