is it possible to get the 2 to work together? like, use the hi shifter instead of the up down one on the DFP? assuming it works with LFS..?

The front lights will have to be taped, im still messing with the rear lense tape.

as for the numbers on the cars, ill release a .psd file with the plates, you just need to overlay the layer on your texture and fill in your number and save it.

ill be going on holiday tomorrow (reason why entries will be accepted mid december when i return).

We will then allow entrants, and process a race table.

About the taped up lights. the person who is recording the footage (Or who ever volunteers) will just need the modified DDS file, Everyone else doesnt really need it unless they really want it.

Atm, there is no rallycross, as id like it to be focused on circuit racing.

Or perhaps a Speed limit on the warm up lap, if you go over that speed, youll have a penalty in the pits or something

Hum, thats good. i remeber seeing this site that had a few mods for the DFP, anyone have it?

On terms on mods, i was thinking more of a H Shifter (Or atleast the shifter on the left side).

I originally was going to add the XRG, but i thought keeping the same car, will even the racing out a tad more, as the XFG and XRG both have their advantages over others.

Its not really that reporting and finding wreckers, but the fact of saying to a person "This player is great to race with" Etc.

Wreckers are low on S2, i agree. but it wasnt mainly just for wreckers, but the fact to praise fellow sim players, complement and show the LFS community what you think of that driver, why you would recommend that driver etc

--General Information--
The league contains 12 rounds, 1 round per month with a total of "20" drivers (and 3 marshals).

Each round will be hosted on a dedicated server for the event.

Each round will contain a 20 minute qualifying round, followed by the full lenth race. the whole event should take around an hour. The race will then start using the times gained by qualification.

The amount of laps a race has will normally depend on the course length (Roughly 40/50 miles Per race).

Every race will contain 1 Mandatory pit stop.


--Skin Information--

Each player may have their own personalised skin (Or Team Skins etc), each skin "MUST" have the number templates that show their car number.

There should be 3 plates in total, 1 on the bonnet and 1 on both doors. A 4th Number "Sticker" is to be placed on the rear hatch door.

Fake vents or texture body kits are forbidden. The cars body must appear in standard form.

As regarding number plates, they must either show "Stk Htch", "XFG Cup" or your race number, No other plate is permitted, and you will not be allowed to race until this is corrected

New drivers in the league, must display a Black and yellow cross on the rear hatch, opposite the number sticker for atleast 2 rounds.

Front and Rear lights must be taped up (This isnt really nesscary unless you are recording footage for the coverage)

--Entries--

20 Entry slots are available. It’s not first come first serve. It’s who we feel fit and are
Mature enough to drive competitively.
We will look for drivers with resonable milage, and Good, competative times using the XFG
on most tracks. These will be used in most cases when choosing entries.

Entries can either be a privateer (Single Person, no Team) or in a Team (Max of 2 people per team). Points will be gathered for Overall and team points.

--Coverage--

We will try to fully organise the footage as close as to TV Footage as we can, similar to the STCC, as i think this is what promotes the league far from the others. So we will look into commentators and video editors for this. (We are not trying to steal becky roses idea for the coverage, its just the fact that its a great idea and promotes sim racing greatly)

Well, maybe have a system where, when you report a player online for whatever reason, LFS also uploads the replay file to support your reporting

i think this should be implemented into LFS World.

A system that allows other players to comment on other players. Similar to the Xbox Live system. it will show the wreckers from the serious racers. and would help league hosts to choose the right people.

as for ingame reputation. maybe a percentage (%) or Stars to show there Reputation score (As maybe a quick view option for example :/Gizmo - Rep)

Instead of using their actual license name, use their current server name they are connected with (Avoids confusion with finding their LFS Name IMO) and then it could pop up with something like this (Gizmo - ).

as for reporting or praising players, maybe have this option (/Gizmo - Praise) (/Gizmo - Report). Then the next time you visit LFS world, you can write your report on the player and submit it.

I think this should be implemented, and will promote more fairplay out there.

Ill be getting a DFP in about 3 weeks time, due to the massive price drop with the release of the G25.

I was just wondering, what mods can be done to this wheel? ive never actually owned a wheel before, but the price temptation is overwhelmed me into getting one, so i have no idea what to expect and what to do.

Im interested i joining, although i think my low milage will put you off recruiting me, but i have had around 2 years LFS Experiance.

The tires for the rear and front can be changed, but, how about for each wheel?

Locked Diff for the UF1, i dont see why if all the other cars have the option of an LSD or Locked Diff, that the UF1 should be different.

Limit the offroad tires to the off road tracks, such as the hybrid tire, im sure its a simple addition, such as, have the offroad tires only selectable when a offroad track is loaded.

and some "Proper Race Tracks". what i mean is, tracks without all these configurations, as it just seems a little to messy, the reason i like westhill so much is the fact that its just 1 road, 1 track. id like to see more 1 road tracks.

Some Sports Convertable type car, like an MX5, Suzuki Cappuccino, Short wheel base, small, FR car.

No, thats not it....

The General Wants his own server, i want my own server, although i would own both, the general pays me as i pay for both servers, then ill just monitor and change his as he pleases.

It works out cheaper as we both want a server each, they will both get used

Because it works out cheaper. its £15 for 1 Server or £26 for 2, so, works out £2 cheaper for us both, and hopefully in 3 weeks, there should be a new promotion, that will allow it to be even more cheaper
