well you could start with a screenshot done in cloudy conditions..and there are many tutorials for rainy or day->night effects @ www.good-tutorials.com

instead desaturating image try this:
- set black as your foreground color and white as background color (you can do this by pressing "D" on your keyboard)
- go to image->adjustments -> gradient map
- hit ok

just desaturating image gives weird results and looks nothing like a b&w photo would do on a film.

i dunno...GMT is used in england? i think england is -1h from CET....so prolly 19.00GMT

well i think the server isnt always serving as a "pushcross" server (wouldnt be good if you came crashing in a normal clean race ). They are doing each wednesday either pushcross race or a jumping race (with ramps all over the track). And yesterday it was just training. started with 3 czechs and a while later the server was full of even well known ppl like gp4flo,al heeley, jeep etc yesterday it was actual linux #1 server iirc. ok, another short quick movie from me. On yesterday evening i joined a server where they were doing a "strkkros" (could be translated as pushcross) - a few czechs (Tairo & co.) have been doing such "races" already for few weeks(months?) and its very fun! No rules, you can crash, block etc (well doing heavy crashes isnt very wise, becasue it also damages your car). So as it was very fun, i decided to do a short movie:

if you noticed, it was "continous" (from start to finish), not a few scenes placed randomly together. cant do much syncronysing with music there

well you can check "follow car" option in shift+U mode, then its a bit easier to "fly" around going car

you mean that it would automatically follow the car? no thats not there. But in shift+u when you hold right mouse button you can rotate without moving the camera

yeah some people already told me that the ftp doesnt work, but for some others it works, so i dont know where is the problem. prolly something with dns?

yes, its like bosse said. but try pressing both zoom keys (slow+fast) at once - you will get a midspeed zoom meaning its something between slow and fast

@deggis: nope, also on outside cameras are colors a bit tweaked, but not as much as inside
