Last few bits now..
Bleeding the coolant on this engine sucks, but got it done. Need to stop a leak from the rocker gasket (I used an old one.. ordered a new one now) and need to adjust the seating position. Then it will be done-ish.. has a random ABS warning light, and the brake pad sensor light wont go out (hopefully just have to connect two wires!)

The TT is just a heavy 2 seated VAG product, souless with a uninteresting engine that goes well.. (2.0T)

Got my track car engine rebuilt!!! how rough does this sound?? Granted the exhaust was not connected..

UK E28 5 series turbos are very rare, think this is the 2nd one about.
Megasquirt could do with a proper tune, once I've fitted the new fuel pump

Only gave it a quick test with the lid off, lovely induction sound! but was wary of the heat soak.
K&N induction kit should arrive tomorrow
I am paying £881, this is with 3x car changes since the policy started though.
Get one! If you want facelift, get one from between 2004 - 2005, these have lower tax, and no drive by wire and are considered better buys!

I will be stripping it down starting tomorrow. Plan is to fit a metal headgasket & new ARP bolts and feed it 1.5bar example hereWill update how I get on
(if I survive)Elise seats? I was going to do that to mine. Sourced some from a breaker but the blood on the seat put me off! (car must have been in a bad smash )

Not to quote my large image on previous page.. but I persevered with the kitchen cleaner! It turns out I needed to leave the stuff on the painted areas much longer then it came off like dead skin on your feet!

Me loaded? I wish The mx5 and the silvia are long gone.. the Golf GTI is my daily car and this BMW is my new project car.
The BMW is not for resto, it will be a track car, and already has some special bits on it. As jakg said, it doesnt hold a large amount of money and is already worth more than I paid for it.
