The UF Racers Club
The UF Racers club is a group of LFS racers who love close, clean, racing and most of all love doing it in Mini's
At the start of 2007 there was a serious shortage of leagues and event for the UF1000 car.
Several LFS friends got together and put out some feelers for a UF1000 league that was concentrating on making a close, competative and interesting league.
At the time the 'UF Owners Club' name was chosen.
UF1000 'May-Hem' Cup
The first league that was organised was run using the UF1000 car at a time of pre-patch X
The interest and demand was so high that we got in excess of 50 signups and we had to change the rules to make it a 2 division series.
The first UF Owners Club league was the UF1000 'May-Hem' Cup an event which was raced over the 5 Thursday's in May. They included 2 races per evening, with the second race being run with a reversed track and also a reversed grid. They also included constructors championships.
The league was a great success and the eventual winner of Division 1 was Mercury Racing's Paul Chapman, whose Team, Mercury Old Fart's also won the constructors championship.
The Division 2 Championship was won by SonicRealms Racing's Tongey. The Division 2 Constructors Championship was won by Zwarte Wind Racing.

A UF Baby-R is born
After the first successful league and with the release of Patch X there was a plan to modify the UFR car to make a racing version of the UF1000 which was also good for close racing.
After practising several combinations we arrived at a 45% reduction in engine intake. This gave us effectively a Mini Miglia Racer which was an instant hit, we just needed a name, and thus the UF Baby-R was born.
We are currently about to start the first season of UF Baby-R.
Again we have had over 50 sign-ups and have just organised a system whereby we have pre-qualifying to make sure we have full grids of 30 or 32 track dependant.
The Fall-Out Cup Season 1
The series has been a great success with 36 drivers in total scoring championship points over the 7 race championship.
Season 1 Drivers Championship Results
1st #10 M.Pesonen 262 pts
2nd #6 T.Corken 213pts
3rd #5 J.Parker 200pts
M.Pesonen drove a great Season and only recorded 1 did not finish. 11 podiums with 4 wins meant that he was champion with 1 race to go.
T.Corken also drove a great season, although he did not win any of the series races we was consistantly fast and as a result was the only person to finish every single race in the points, a great acheivement
Season 1 Team Championship Results
1st CR|Slot Car Racers 413pts
2nd PirateUFR's 374pts
3rd [dSRC] digiServ Racing Club 228pts
The Team Trophy went down to the wire. With the final race there was a real challenge from PirateUFR's to take the title. Unfortunately an incident involving both cars on lap 5 caused their title challenge to slip away.
The Team Trophy goes to CR|Slot Car Racers (#6 T.Corken and #5 J.Parker) Although they did only win one race between them over the entire season both drivers did score points in all but one race. A good consistant season was rewarded with the trophy
Season Privateers Cup
1st #46 S.Hill 46pts
2nd #95 M.Pust 40pts
3rd #55 T.Falkenberg 36pts
The title of Privateer goes to S.Hill who managed to pip the other two challengers at the final hurdle by securing a good points finish in the season finale.
Congratulations to M.Pust and also T.Falkenberg for their efforts over the season to make the Privateers Cup top three places.
UF Racers Club
At the end of Season 1 of the "Fall-Out" Cup, the naming of the series has been changed to The UF Racers Club.
With the launch of Patch Y the CTRA X1.5 has included the UF Baby-R as one of its entry level racing servers....
Taken from the www.raceauthority.com website...
"Introducing the new UF BabyR challenge server. The UF BabyR (CTRA designation: UF-BR) follows the intake restriction as imposed by the Fall-Out Cup league. We at UKCT enjoyed the season so much that we decided to launch a new entry-level server in its honour."
It is fantastic to see what an idea can lead too.
As I write this the UF-BR server is amoungst the most populated of LFS racing servers.
With so many new racers falling in love with the Baby-R, I'm sure that a Season 2 of the "Fall-Out" Cup will be very well received and much anticipated.
All details of Season 2 will be announced once the schedule has been reviewed.
