Cos the engine sound you hear in the cabin is usually a combination of engine noise, exhaust note and induction noise, which you cant really pick up with a mic in the engine bay..
Are the skies your work as well, they look different to the default ones and to some of the other hi res skies ive seen? If they are different, is there any chance of you sharing those too?
Love it! Love the weathering and damage, might try and update mine in my version a similar way. The only thing im not keen on is the 'floating' ends at the base of the barriers and that with lots in a row the damage might look too much of a pattern. Other than that these are brilliant and far superior to my versions!
Great work, but I prefer the original sounds. The light skid sound doesnt blend into the heavier skid sound very well and as a result that makes it sound like an arcade game rather than a sim
So AX looks like its received a few more files than it had before, and other adverts have been 'rationlised' to save space or memory or something I guess?
Ahh, well thats not really needed. On my version that indent is the water drain (the barriers are plastic, and filled with water to provide weight). There only needs to be one.
I think he was referring to the edge textures which are about 1px wide at the edge of the main texture. However I dont see a problem with the ones I have mapped out which are just an extension of the main edge.
The 'splodge' is from the original photo. I think its where the groove ends in the void area, but youre right, as the 3d model doesnt represent this shape. Thats an easy one to fix and ill get onto it.
Regarding the opacity, im not really sure what you mean? This dds doesnt have an alpha layer, so how do you make it less opaque? Im also not sure what you mean about the missing piece but would appreciate any help you can give
Thanks Shaun, it might be your textures which make up the rest of the shop fronts in the above files! I recall attempting to redo the McDonalds a while back but never really got round to finishing the whole thing.
I randomly update textures whenever im driving and notice something that looks low res or poor. Other than that I dont really want or need any more high res stuff. Infact sometimes ill go through the textures I have and resize some of the daft stuff like hi res wipers and brake callipers. Dont need them taking up memory as you never see them while racing!
It would be a brave/stupid man that would drive a car reported as stolen, around the motorways of the UK, for the purpose of obtaining as much publicity as you could probably get from a magazine article or two.
I do agree that whoever took it was obviously out for a joyride though. Chancers. Speil about the battery being disconnected was more than likely a story for the benefit of the insurance company...
Its because you are sat to one side of the car I think. Set a custom view with virtual dials in the centre of the car, and thats probably your only way. Either that or drive single seaters
