If you were to click on multiplayer, 4 options could show up which could be: RACE, DRIFT, CRUISE and OTHER (which are drag servers and stunt servers).

If I were to click on the RACE option, another screen could show up showing all of the race servers hosted on LFS, this could also be the same for all of the other categories.

Here are some basic pictures to show what I mean:

A mixture of road and rally combos, and personally, I would like to see everyone in the same car because as discovered by other people, the xrg is almost in a different class compared to the xfg (unless more weight is added to the xrg)

I might be wrong but....I was testing with the AI on the dragstrip. Here is how to make the TBO and LRF cars equal. (I put the xrt, fxo, lx6, rac and fz5 against a stock rb4.)

Note: Make a copy of the default hard track setup provided.

Do not touch the rb4, leave it stock.

If you put 1.0% fuel in each car, each car driven by the AI, should have almost the same time as the RB4.

P.S, sadly you have to restrict TBO because as Sobis said, TBO is unequal.

I'm not sure whether its lag, but I see people in TBO or xfg and xrg doing full throttle and shifting without using the clutch (the clutch does not appear on the screen when you are spectating them) its almost like every car in lfs has an ignition cut gearbox like the fxr and xrr.

How can I make the gearbox in for example: xfg like the fxr gearbox? Or how can I shift without using the clutch in normal cars?

If you registered back in 2002, 2003 or 2004, by now you might of realised that LFS is slowly dying, and that there couldn't possibly be a server that will bring the fun back into lfs. (And by dying I mean, too many cruise servers and not enough racing servers).

Well you're wrong, if you want a server which is full of fast, clean and legendary drivers (by which I mean members that have registered back in 2002-2005), and a server that brings back all the fun and fast combos, then feel free to "Fordmans Server" . And one more thing, this isnt just some server begging for attention and trying to get as popular as cargame, the server is hosted by a user called Fordman. Now he registered back in early 2003, but this is all I am going to say at the minute, you can see why a user from 2003 has suddenly come back to lfs to host a server from the link above.

Damn, I didn't see your post Fordman until just now

Great server, great racing and great fun, the thing I like about the server is that, it has no fancy insim, no airio software and no people winging about how they spun out or how someone crashed into them.

This server in my opinion could become one of the top and most popular servers in LFS if more people were to join.
So if you like fast, fun and clean racing, come and join: Fordmans server . Thanks again for hosting Fordman, hopefully this will get more people to join.

One advantage of Liveforspeed is that you can never really master the game. For instance if you play an arcade game such as Need For Speed most wanted, you can master the tracks and the cars handling in about 1 week, but in Live for speed, it is very hard to do this, which is why I carry on playing the game.

One Disadvantage is that most of the servers have similar combos such as GTR cars at Aston 5 or 6 and FBM at Blackwood 1, I think most people would like some...not odd but fun but at the same time challenging combos such as, fo8 at Kyoto 3 and UF1 at south city sprint 1 etc. I know this is going a bit off topic but personally, I would like to see most of the fun and challenging combos back in LFS.

I could add stuff like, the development is a bit slow, but alot of people have said this in the past so there's no need for me to mention any more disadvantages I don't think.

What do people think of my sound pack?

Since LFS is a racing simulator, and drifting is sort of racing, then its a yes from me . But keep in mind, people will want stuff like open world maps like you get in need for speed, and other add ons which relate to cruising and not racing...so people, try and keep this topic or other polls on the Racing side of LFS not cruising.

Make the XRT, FXO and possibly RB4 feel more like touring cars (the touring cars that were in the BTCC in 1997, not the modern touring cars),

make the MRT feel like a go kart

and make the FZR, XRR and FXR feel like DTM cars.

And maybe a few more racing tracks such as Knock Hill...

Either buy an s2 licence and go on a cruise server (WKD cruise server, TC city driving, RC reality cruise...etc) OR buy need for speed/city car driving. Live for speed is meant more for the racing side of things...not cruising.
