Please stop posting in this topic, most of the questions have been answered and s3 will be released when it is ready. Yes it is taking some time but would you rather have a game with loads of bugs in or a game which runs near to perfect?

I know I would rather wait to have a finished game that has no bugs in. In the mean time, I will try my best to put more racing servers up so people will stop whining about s3 and put their licences to good use, to race on servers.

And by the way, to all of the people that say "LFS IS DEAD" or "LFS SUCKS BECAUSE...." just be thankful that LFS isnt some game which claims to have a physics engine which is 'realistic' but in fact the cars handle like sh*t. Lfs has one of the (in my opinion) best physics engines out there, yes the game might be over ten years old and the graphics are starting to look a bit dated but please, I think people should give credit to the devs for creating this superb racing simulator which provides a good selection of FWD, RWD and AWD cars and also be grateful that licences are well priced, most racing games which are on PC tend to put silly quotes on the box saying "best game ever-IGN" and "physics are excellent-Race-room" when in fact they are not, lfs does not have that problem.

If any one thinks lfs 'sucks' or is 'dead' then you're wrong, lfs is not dead, it is just full of cruise servers. I will be putting my racing server up in a couple of days, I will be making a new topic so if you want to have a good time racing, feel free to join. Also don't forget (if you have s1 or s2) to join the cargame servers, they offer a good track combo. For demo users, try out the [AA] servers, they seem to be always up and running and up to 15 people are normally on every one. Rant over.

You're able to put hybrid and knobbly tires on the lx6 but lfs can't load the .knw files for fe6, fe5 and bl2 for the lx6. Also, lfs says that the AI cannot drive the lx6 on rally cross tracks even though you can put rally tires on the car.

Victor, Scawen and Eric, two users (PititBlue and ricki) are using some sort of speed hack, I am unable to provide a replay but I have seen these two on two different servers with in the past 30 minutes using the speed hack. I think these two guys deserve a global 30 day ban or a perm ban from lfs.

Okay the server will be up and running tonight at 7:00pm GMT+1, EDIT: server is up and running now so people can practise etc, the first race will be taking
place at 7:00pm ( GMT+1 )

I will include LX4 at South City Classic Reverse - 5 laps long

XRT at Blackwood Rally Cross Reverse- 5 laps long

A custom layout at aston (fun and short)- 4 laps long in the XFG

Fern bay Rally Cross Green UF1- 6 laps long

And finally Kyoto National with Fo8 - 5 laps long .

Feel free to say which combos you would like to race on, I will either swap the suggested combos for mine or try and fit them in.

Hi, I am running a server which is called: Edward's SINGLE CLASS s2 .

Drivers will be using the same car on the same track, each race will consist of 5 laps or less (depending on the size of the track).

The server is up and running NOW, so if anyone would like to join, feel free.

I will be putting up the server on the 8/06/13 and 09/06/13 at 7:00pm GMT+1 just for fun, I'm not sure what the combo will be but I will post on here.

Also, I will try and throw in a mixture of road and rally racing and maybe some auto cross (that's if I could find some good layouts).

LFS needs a car as fantastic as the BMW E30 M3

...I know I play too much LFS when....I sit at a desk and put both of my arms out and position my legs as if I was going to use a steering wheel.

Hi, I have downloaded RBRSR2013, but everytime I enter the RSCenter2013 and everytime I click on pack, the box is blank. Like this:


And every time I enter Richard Burns rally without opening the RScenter2013, it just comes up with the standard cars and tracks you get without the mod installed.

What am I doing wrong? In the RBR folder, I can see all of the cars have been installed and tracks...

P.S. When I click on 'country' in the RScenter2013, I am able to select any track, I just cannot select an installed car.

I purchased a brand new Logitech g25 back in 2009....

Current problems: Pedals spiking, opened them, cleaned them, still spike a little bit now .

Shifter- Bought a second hand replacement shifter off ebay, working fine, first shifter broke .

Wheel itself- force feedback still strong, all buttons work on wheel .


So really, the actual wheel is the only part which has had no problems since purchase. Logitech should of put some kind of cover around the red pedal parts to prevent dust getting in, and used stronger wires for the shifter.

If you were to click on multiplayer, 4 options could show up which could be: RACE, DRIFT, CRUISE and OTHER (which are drag servers and stunt servers).

If I were to click on the RACE option, another screen could show up showing all of the race servers hosted on LFS, this could also be the same for all of the other categories.

Here are some basic pictures to show what I mean:

A mixture of road and rally combos, and personally, I would like to see everyone in the same car because as discovered by other people, the xrg is almost in a different class compared to the xfg (unless more weight is added to the xrg)
