On the one hand you are right, but on the other hand you'll see that some pros are going to drive in this league to "boost" their statistics by getting victories in a easy way. As a consequence of that, it would demotivate the beginners, because they would drive at the back of the field like in every other league. For me it would ruin the meaning of a beginner league.
You can also promote a league without the spdoDatabase by writing posts in this section about upcoming events, adding every race to the "Race Calender" of the forum and writing some season reports here and there.
First of all, I must say that I didn't have such exciting FOX league races for a long time. I was enjoying the tight races with the fast finns. :P
The sprint race was perfect from my point of view. After Pasi's only mistake, I could overtake him and then was holding him back until the finish. But I knew that the feature race wouldn't be easier as he was faster. The start was a bit "special", but I wasn't the only one with troubles finding the correct spot/position. I could defend all his attacks in the infield, but the main focus was lying on getting a perfect exit out of the last corner to stay ahead of him on the following straights. Then I was getting worried about the left front tyre who was getting thinner and thinner. Driving a bit more careful through the right-hand corners was the only option which gave Pasi a chance to overtake me after the first corner. Unfortunately we collided then, but I apologized for this incident after the race.
Hopefully the next races will be as close as this round. And Tiger Express probably has gained a lot of points in the team standings on Sonicrealms Racing and meh Racing. Like Yann said, it was a good performance from everyone in the team.
Fernbay Black is actually a pretty nice track which challenges the driver and you can win a lot of time with making no mistakes. The track isn't the problem why so many drivers fail here.
Plus, I can't be that some driver join the server and ask for race setups two hours before the start. Already at this point, I was thinking that this race will be a mayhem. Why? Just because you should feel comfortable with your setup - especially if you know that this is one of the hardest tracks of LFS.
Well, it's only a short video where I've started to work with some effects and new camera positions. Compared to the old videos: Shall I continue to make videos in this new style or stick again to the old one?
