No, sorry for the confusion. Race Viewer is used within LFS itself.
I will release Race Spectator in a few hours. It hard to work at 2 different project at the same time and I found some bugs which I had to solve.
You can enjoy LFS races without searching for the action. This program searches for the closest battles and focuses on them. It stays at the battle for a x (custom) amount of seconds. Afterwards the search continues. It could happen that the camera focus on the same battle again! When a crash occurs and causes an yellow flag, the camera focuses on it immediately.
If you want to disable Race Viewer temporarily you can uncheck the "Enable Race Viewer". You can have LFS in fullscreen mode.
You can launch LFS from the program itself (if the settings are correct). Or you can do it manually :
type /insim=portnumber
* change the portnumber to the “LFS Port” you have in the Options dialog.
When Race Viewer is connect to LFS, you can play a replay or go online to watch some action!
This version of Race Viewer uses the LFS TV Camera as a base.
I’m working on some ideas for the next couple of updates.
- Custom Cameras.
- Camera focus based on priority.
- Some race statistics.
I noticed loss of driving input for the mouse when i was on the "Bug test server". I used the mouse as controller, and when I press the clutch "C" for more than 3 seconds, I notice the lack of input from the mouse.
I tested it offline aswell and there was no problem.
So, i tested in Patch W aswell. First in single player mode. Everything was fine. Then i tested it online with patch W and it was the same as with the test patch
During the loss of input the framerate is normal 60fps. The strange thing is it fine in single player mode/offline, but it appears online.
I asked other guys to test it and they don't notice the lack of input. So maybe its a local problem.
After those ~3 seconds the input of mouse steering is almost gone. The wheel just fixed under a angle, and when you are trying to counter steer, it won't and then all a sudden the input is back (wheel turns) and it freezes again. I get all responds back when I release the clutch button.
Any ideas?
A team member of Finalgear has made a kinda Hillclimb on Aston circuit
It can be found here or directly
The height difference on some parts of Aston are noticable, which would make it great for a HillClimb Track.
I noticed in U19 (I don't think it was in U18) that the 'result table' wasnt showing up after the race or when a time has been set in Qualification.
I search about this, but never found anything similar. So is this a bug or did I accidentally changed a setting?

screenshot was taking offline, but the same happens online.
I changed the name from "Fuel Control" to "Fuel Consumption". So people won't be confused which is which.
edit: I'm wondering how active your fuelcontrol is? Is it updated on a regular basis?
I made a Fuel Sonsumption System @ lfs.finalgear.com.
Below the tracks you can post your own fuel consumption for each combo.
Select the car and track and fill in your fuel consumption data.
You can find the fuel consumption in lfs by pressing F12. You see a menu called 'Pit instructions'
When you completed 1 lap the fuel consumption read appears, e.g. "0.7% per lap"
You know now how much fuel you need for completing 1 single lap. To let others know what your fuel consumption is, post your findings here.
Its quite empty still, but sure it will be filled soon.
I hope it can be usefull for you. and comments or ideas are welcome.
update
If there is a fuel report for a combo you can calculate your fuel strategy.
There are 3 basic strategies.
1/3 , 50/50 and 2/3
Start fuel, pitlap and refuel amount
If you set the Pitlap you can define your pitlap, then it calculates for that specific lap
