B: Like other games steam will not be the only selling point, you will still be able to download and install from lfs.com
Remember, steam was developed for counter strike, only some games developed by Valve are for sale on steam and steam alone.

If you don't want noobs driving around crashing in your server then put a experience cap on it.
IE: You would require xxx amount of experience to race on this server.
I remember the days where I could log into LFS and jump right into a full server, I miss those days.
Now, I have to wait until 2am GMT+10 until there is a server with more than 20 people in it.
You all need to put aside this weird thing you have against steam and think about the big picture here.
Would you rather play a slowly emptying LFS or have it back in all it's glory.
Another question, how many of you who voted still actually play LFS??

Low Fps on second monitor
So I bought a new graphics card a while ago and just got the second adapter so i can play LFS on my 50" and watch movies on my 19"
Problem I am having now is the 50" is getting very low FPS 15-30fps where as if I move over to the main monitor (19") I am getting 100-200fps.

I figured my wise words of LFS wisdom would exclude me from having to present my argument.
I guess I'll say this though, there is no argument to be had just a clash of opinions, I race a lot, I drift a lot, I cruise when I am bored or I want to pretend i'm 14 again and go troll everyone in the server.
That's just me though, call it stupid or immature but I have a great time doing it.
I might just add that CCT seems like it has an admin that is more suited to running a race server.
IE: not an over controlling tosser.
Which may just be why I preferred CCT over most other cruise servers.
Errrm what? Good cops are nothing more than experienced crashers. I know this because I'm some what of an experienced crasher from when I was 13-15 years old playing on Demo S1 and early days of S2.
Pick your target, observe environment, learn your targets basic driving strategy, and make for an attack that won't get you banned.
Of course being a pretend cop it's your pretend job to pit maneuver and damage or disable the other persons car, so you don't worry about the banning aspect of it which then makes you a bit less cautious and well mainly just a crasher looking for a fix.
It's not necessarily a bad thing, 95% of the fun for me on a cruise server is escaping the cops.
End of the day.
Racing requires more skill than any form of cruising.
If you wanna kick back mess around and talk shit then yeah go cruise.

By the way, 100% brake and 40% throttle in order to launch is used for automatics with high stall converters, doing this in a manual is incredibly bad for your clutch and will simply not work for any "modified" cars with ceramic or brass clutches.

Besides, as previously stated the fake cop could have easily pit laned, I did not cause the lag crash, it is clear in the video you posted that I was not the one who accelerated out of the lagged overlap of cars.

As previously stated I did not ram anyone, if it were the case my car would be much more damaged that it is in that picture, it was a simple 5km/h bump.
How about you post up a video of the real reason for the crash so everyone could see how easily it could have been avoided. Better yet, how about you post up a screen shot of the chat log just before I was banned so everyone can see what kind of retards are running WKD.

I drove about 200km or so, which for me in a cruise server is quite and accomplishment as I'm somewhat more of a racer.
I would like to see this server become more popular. From what I've seen the Admin is a good guy unlike some other servers which seem inappropriate to mention right now,
CCT is a server I can see growing in popularity and is worth checking out.

Not sure if this has been suggested or not, to be quite honest I did not even search.
Anywho, here is my idea, A relatively simple one I think too.
Custom horns, say a repeating 1-4 second audio clip that you can place in the appropriate folder and upload to LFSworld.
Access to custom horn should be the standard Shift + H until your desired horn is selected, then downloaded as a skin would be by all users in the server.
All LFS users can benefit from this idea
*It would add a sense of individuality to the already self expressing skins
*It would make cruise cops less gay
*It would bring more enjoyment to racing
*It would be interesting to see how many radical ideas or crazy horns people could find.

The cop then moved causing a crash as apposed to entering pits or !pitlane.
Kitty, watched the replay, then proceeded to ask if I am using VOB mods, when I asked what a VOB mod was. I was informed that the replay had been watched.
When I replied "Yes And?"
Kitty the super intelligent admin disregarded the fact that I my previous message was a question that obviously implied I would like further information from this limited brain capacity beings allegation, curious to know exactly what kind of superficial conclusion was being forwarded.
Kitty quoted me saying only "yes" as if admitting guilt to the very thing I was questioning.. To which I was instantly banned for 3 days for using VOB mods..............................
All of this after buying an FXO, earning 30k and being in multiple "cop" chases in the past.
I have played LFS for 7 years, I have never used VOB mods nor do I know what they even do.
