IMO, you could go to the doctor, tell him you breathe more from your left nostril than from your right one. Full stop.
DO NOT say him anything about "the brain hemisphere you're using" and "yoga", just let him solve your problem for you...
I'm not a doctor... but I think this could help.
btw, I'm kind of new here on the forum (or noob, if you prefer ), but I already start to feel like I'm going to faint when, under the thread title, I see that the author is "lerts".
I really don't think your message will be helpful to AE86drifter...
Not because what you just said isn't right... but because you bumped a thread that will soon celebrate its second birthday
Not everybody thinks that bigger equals better and that's not the point of the video: it's funny because of the Airbag, not because of the Yaris.
It could have been a Maybach 62, a Smart car... and it would have been equally funny.
:wow:
Now, there's a problem. With such a variety of awesome interiors, how the hell can I choose ONLY ONE!!!!
/me half happy & half sad because of this.
Really? I think that if he changes the interiors of the XFG, XRG and FBM noone can say anything.
I don't remember license-protection over the .dds files.
He can't use THESE files, because surely the Scirocco (when it will be released) will be reserved to S2 players [edit: I was wrong, it will be reserved to S1 Licensed].
So, Scribble-1990, try to ask how to use the .dds files in a XFG/XRG/FBM modifications related topic, surely someone will be helpful there without being just suspicious and not really nice to you
Or, better, use the Search button... You'll find surely something!
Well, I don't want to start a flame. It's everyone-who-bought-S2-license's problem. Moderator or not, I can't stand that someone uses a crack, all in all this game costs ONLY 24£ -a bargain IMHO-, and the money is sent to the devs: they than can improve the game. But if someone cracks the license protection... no money to the devs and then no improvements.
And it's almost 4 days my status changed from "Demo" to S2, so I don't think I'm really against demo-users -I've been one for months. I'm only against crackers. And so are the others who posted here, and so are all S2 licensed.
So if he proves us that his friend really has got an S1/2 license, than I will be glad of helping him. If not, well... no help.
I really don't think it's a very impossible thing to do: if he connects here, posts a TINY partecipation ("I'm so-and-so, I'm beatlemaniac's friend, we use the game together, please help us.") we are just GLAD to help. If beatlemaniac just says that, we can't trust him, then no help from us (even if this isn't useful anymore, now that you helped him).
No plots here, nothing against Demo Users, just DON'T USE CRACKS, for God's sake.
I think you can use all the LFSTweak's potential only on the XFG and XRG. You can do something also on the other cars, but not very much.
AFAIK to make the specs match you have to try, try and try until you're ok with your tweaked car
We all are ready to help, just prove us that we can trust you.
If he has LFS and an Internet access (which he does for sure, otherwise he couldn't be S2 Licensed), just tell him to connect. It's easy.
Voted the second option because it's the most similar to mine.
Thrustmaster GT Rallye Pro Clutch Edition: 270°, 3 pedals, sequential paddles & shifter.
I really want to buy a FF Joystick to use it as an H-shifter... but in two weeks it's my birthday so I hope I will recieve it as a gift
Nice, it isn't bad at all...
Little bug: the rear bumper is half black and half green... don't think it's supposed to be like that and with a better carbon fiber texture...
Fantastic setups, btw. The only little "bug" (if we can call it so) is that, when you put 4 passengers + the driver in the car, the car goes all the way down due to the softness of the suspension.
The UF1 then is undriveable, the other cars are better even if you can feel the whole thing "bottom" (is this the correct word? I mean when the car hits the road and, pressing F, the arrow turns red)
Don't ask me why on earth one would use a car in a racing simulator with 5 people in it, just tried
Think you're right. :Kick_Can_
Just tried with the RB4, AutoX Drag Strip.
Manual Shift & Clutch: 0:13,53 was the best I could do in 3 runs (0:13,77 & 0:13,67 the others);
Manual Shift, Auto Clutch: 0:13,55 the best, 0:13,72 & 0:13,58 the others;
Auto Shift & Clutch: 0:13,75 the best, 0:13,79 & 0:13,78 the others.
0-100 (0-60) respectively in 5,35 (M/M), 5,35 (M/A) and 5,56 (A/A).
Let's say it. My fault. Got owned
But I think that there is a (maybe too much) tiny difference between an auto and a manual. IRL *I think* there's more.
I would like to have a <proper> automatic transmission.
An auto that changes smoothly, that when you're still and in D tries to move, and of course that uses some power of the engine (making it a little bit slower).
I don't quite like racing with the auto transmission on... but I think (as it is now) it's an advantage for whom uses it.
Tried to do in LFS a 0-100km/h (0-62mph) test with manual (clutch operated by pedal), sequential (auto clutch) and automatic transmission.
Manual, at my best, was 0,82 seconds slower than auto; with the auto clutch on, 0,5 seconds slower than the auto.
IRL it isn't like this: the auto is (usually) the slowest, because of the loss of power.
IMHO if the devs want to put in LFS a REAL auto, they could also raise the fuel consumption and the weight...
Both:
- The old one 'cause it's cheap to run, cheap to repair, it handles very well, it's tiny, it's British... it just is THE car.
- The new one because it's better looking, it still handles well... but it costs a fortune.
Just bought an S2 License and... it's worth every penny.
You can't find a racing game that's as realistic as this... and remember: it isn't the full version yet, it's still an alpha. In some months (years?) time it can be a lot better than it is now!
I think also that there aren't many games that are improved with such a frequence, and the developers actually READ what we (the users) suggest, and patch the bugs we find. In other games you find a bug and you have to keep it.
Also, I paid 25€ for LFS S2: a game like rFactor (for example) costs 35+€, and it just isn't as good as LFS.
Go and buy a license, it's worth it! (and with the Scirocco incoming... :tilt
