She will dominate LFS Forums and IRC.

Hehe, cool.
Never thought of the lyrics, just found his voice annoying when our 13-year old girl plays it all day
Translation is 100% btw.

Cannot connect to master

Right now i dont get any contact with the masterserver (590 user online according to the site soo..).
It worked a few days ago on the same pc and home network. Absolutely nothing changed.

If my ISP (telia in Sweden) has been smart enough to have done something to block this particular connection i need some info to have when i call them.

What ip is the master server?
Ports?
Anything else i should know?

Am i the only one having trouble?

Quote from LRB_Aly :As a result of the Ratzenbergers accident Sauber increased the side of their cockpits and in '95 the FIA enforced a rule that all cockpits had to have a higher cockpit side. A rule that was reworked for several times over the years.

Shouldnt that be Wendlinger at Monaco driving a Sauber?
He crashed at the chicane and got serious head injuries wich almost killed him just two weeks after Imola.

Quote from colcob :Yeah, personally it gets on my nerves when people ram into me after the race. Its kind of childish and irritating and it ruins the atmosphere of a proper race. But that said I've never bothered complaining about it because most people just dont see it that way.

Agree.
And i could kill those azzholes that drives backwards after the race too.
HEY!! I'm practising here!

Quote from Lola Popeye :hey guys, we are thinking of 'reorganising' this, so maybe instead of everynight where only a few show up, we do it 3 times a week - monday, wednesday, friday, so im sure most people can find a free night out of these 3....

Good idea.
Mondays and wednesdays sounds fine.
But isn't most people doing other stuff on fridays?
Thanks for your efforts!

Thanks for the thrilling race yesterday [WD]NAi[FiN]!

You where winding me up in the last laps, i had to drive the laps of my life (well, a pb anyway ) to keep you away.

Next race i will try to go faster in the first stint...

I gave up on the FXR and drove the FZR yesterday for a few long practice runs.
It's much easier to control the tyrewear with your driving style with that car.

But you are driving the FZR, right?/Fredrik

Quote from Bob Smith :Track?

I adjust torque-bias ratio, tyre pressures and camber to get even tyre wear. Testing my endurance setup for GP Long I got it to the point where it blew both the front right and the rear left tyres braking for the same corner.

Can't get it to be much more even than that. But you do have to vary things between tracks. Practising is important, for instance I couldn't stop the front tyres from frying to begin with but after practising and gaining smoothness it was the rears that were going first, so I adjust things to take some load of the rears and back onto the front tyres.

Sorry, WestHill.
And always the same answer, practice

But thanks for the input. I try that tonight. And be there you too! Its an open server with a one hour race starting at 21 CET (20 GMT).

Problem is that i rely mostly on the "setup field setups" and they are truly hotlap setups. I usally like Flotchs setups posted there (had a MRT5 setup in S1 he made that i used for, i don't know how long).
But the one found there for WE is very twitchy and completely unusable for a long run. So i used a AS setup that was more usable, but i fried my right front tire with that one.

I ran the [SCCC] Daily Enduro Fun yesterday and discovered i need some practice, both driving and setup..

I have a setup i'm fairly pleased with but after ten laps the tires are toast, how do i make it last for longer runs? About 17-18 laps. Any tricks?

Or maybe someone have a finished setup to share

Question is, how do i make a setup good for enduro races?
I'll post aquestion in the setup forum..

Yep, great race!

Fantasticly clean first lap.
Had one or two touches with slower cars (moveitdammit ) later in the race. But i dont think i did too much damage.

But my setup was a disaster for long runs. Couldnt even run cleanly with two pitstops. Spun off several times on the last stint. Will work on that and come back tomorrow.

Quote from thisnameistaken :
But like you I'm up for anything. What would your suggestion be?

idontknow. Aston historic maybe. Many long fast corners that eat your tires if your not careful.

Quote from thisnameistaken :Isn't this the nicest gaming community ever? Very accommodating of you and your teammates, Chensta, much appreciated

I'd nominate SO City Long in the FOX for starters. Overtaking opportunities are sparse so a long race would give a decent opportunity to make up any time lost following slower cars through the twisty bits. Plus it's got barriers all the way around it, so no danger of getting beached in the final laps. I've seen keyboard/mousers drive the FOX before so presumably it's pretty accessible for everybody, and it only has a ickle tank so pit strategies would probably come into play.

But i keep smashing the car against the barriers...
No city tracks, please..(but if it thats the decision, im in anyway!)
