After the holiday break, drinking and eating way to much,
it finally was raceday again !!!! O yeah !!
A lot of new members, and a lot we did not see.
No members from Italy this time to join us..
As told, we had a lot of nice new members to replace them.
But we hope, of course, the Italian guys will rejoin on the next races !

So yes, we were ready to burn that rubber, eat some dust,
and burn a lot of virtual fuel !!!!

The first race to test our talents was at Aston Nat. Rev.,
and the car to control those possible talents the FXO,
where controlling the front tyres is one of the main concerns.

Qualifying:

During qualifying Hagner was the fastest, followed by Wlayco, and Miro.

Even after a lot of warning not to .. some had to ... cross the pit exit line.
Watch out not to, because 20 seconds can mean losing nice points
during the next race.

Race 1:

The First race was the "Sprint" race and was only 6 laps.
So making an error mostly can not be recovered.
As usual in this league we add some action by
having a forced pitstop again.

Osteri had some engine problems and had to leave the circuit.
And again some crossed the pit exit line.

As expected, if no errors were made Hagner would change his pole into a victory
and so he did indeed.

And the race was driven very clean !! Gratz to all drivers out there !

9:26.48 - StFin Osteri timed out and left the circuit

9:27.26 - AMT>>Wlayco crossed the pit exit line...20sec penalty

11:42.14 - [WCL] Cornys #5 crossed the pit exit line...20sec penalty

2:44.41 - Griphos uses Shift-P, then re-joins the race... DQ as per 11.6 in the Rules

Never Use Shift-P during the race... Our league is one of the few who uses a Safety Car procedure to
keep the racers on track. How it is used can be found here. and here.

4:56.24 - Griphos returns to the circuit, but doesn't get on the track

5:13.25 - Xtian crossed the pit exit line...20sec penalty

First of all.. many appreciation for the admins in organizing this.

I had 2 good races, not the result, but both races were very clean, but luckily I was on the correct server. Heard there were troubles on the other server...

What I did notice is that there was almost NO respect for the organizers..
A lot could yell in english like no one .. but Chat closed was one step to far to understand.

Therefor a lot of respect for the admins... I would not had have the patience..

I guess they learned a lesson we in www.liveforspeed.be also have learned some years ago.. : If you organize a large event. You can not race !!!!

The if you have some stupid guys trying to mess things up for you.. you can simply press the ban button.. As simple as that.

Setup Functions added to our website !!!
If you drive on a track, I guess the most common question you see is :
"can I have your set please ??"

Some guys are good, no, very good in making those sets.. Others are
better to drive them and some Gods can build and drive them around fast.

To help out those slower guys here we've added a setup page to our website.

Everyone can download and upload sets.

Downloading :

1. Choose a car
2. Choose a track
3. Choose the direction (Normal / Rev)
4. Choose the set you want at the bottom of the setup page.
5. Enjoy it on trrack.

Uploading :

1. Choose a car
2. Choose the track
3. Choose the direction (Normal / Rev)
4. Browse to your setup file (lfsfolder/data/setups
5. Choose the correct setup file
6. Fill in your race name
7. Set the fastest lap time you drove with that set (ex. LFS Lapper time)
8. Upload

Then everybody can taste your flying set.

If you find a bad set, report it to us and if we get this warning from others too, it will be removed

Season 7 has come to an end and because, most of us now have winter holidays....
have to eat and drink a lot with family and friends, it is not easy to be here
online every Sunday. So just like the Summer events .. we have again
the Winter Events.
These are open races.. so everybody is welcome as long as they respect the rules
and drive clean.
So If you're a pro or just a beginner .. join those races.
It is the best way the learn how we race at liveforspeed.be
This is an international league so racers from all over the globe can participate.

The first race is next week at Fern Bay Rally Cross Green (FE6) with the UF1.
So a very short circuit with a nice car, can only result in a lot of close racing and fun !!
We will race 3 sessions of 20 laps. and start at 20.30 CET.
To be sure you be there on time, check the clock on the front page of our website.
It always gives you the CET time.
So we hope to cya online and on track next Sunday !!!

of course you can still upload the setup, as you have changed to suite your driving style.. Everybody starts from a set they got from another one or downloaded it from a website.

SO upload them, I would say !!
