no firewall i have turned off the windows one and the router doesn't have one

has anyone use iprimus and serve lfs?

i CAN just connect it straight into the NB5 but it still doesn't work

hey im letting some of my friends children use my steering wheel and i am expecting to want to race against computers at least but i want to have some control over it so i am hosting it on another computer which i want to use as admin what is the best way for me to do this dedicated or what

um hang on what's bridge mode

i have one is there any harm in me plugging in my momo racing force wheel into it

er's my setup

the signal (internet) comes in through my modem (Netcomm NB5)
then i have run a network cable to my belkin 54g router and connected the server there

and it says it has started and it appears in lfsworld but i can't join it it says
could not get track infomation
i have also tried doing it via the direct usb connection on the modem

both have the ports required open?

so this isn't going to be a download open the program and connect the two computers simple job

i think i might stick to lfsworld server live infomation then

o yeah no matter what i do i can't serve a game i can't configure my router and modem to work no matter how many ports i open (including defult one) it just doesn't work

Hey everyone,

i have a request and it's going to require a great person to help me

i run a small racing team, there are two of us, and we like to catch up and race about once every two weeks, which we have been doing for about a year now, unfortuently we have the worst luck with servers, it seems very time we join a public server (with no one on it) tons of people suddenly join, which isn't good because or computers can't keep up with it and so we have to leave,

so i am wondering wether someone with a kind heart would mind sharing their private server with us, we are happy to join any teams that we have to (race with any livery advertising your name all we want is a private server to race on) and if you need it we would be happy to leave

i know people have these servers in fact right now there is 120 servers that are private with no one on them so i am appealing to your kind side

yeah i was wondering sort of the same thing except about the momo wheel, no body seems to know, i figure there will be away to do it, but i dunno if you will be able to use the full gear box setup it might just be tiptronic, cus i know no xbox wheel has a full gear box sequencal i think there called

not all of us can afford the g25

so in the simplest of terms how do i do it

i have my two computers sitting here networked by firewire, how do i do it

does anyone know if it will work if i plug it in

it's very easy for me to try but i don't want to blow anything up

also i reckon mine steers for me it's really annoying i go around a corner and it does what lfs does in stablized keyboard mode it tries to correct my path and ideas there

11th aren't bad for me concidering i was using a Uf1000 god i love thoses cars

there are only six guest spots so you might have to wait a few minutes if you can't get on the first time

also if you fail to connect the first time and it gives you an error please wait and it should re connect the problem is occuring when the host places an object while you are connecting if you just try again it should work if not flick me a message and i will tell him your trying to connect

Today is Rally Day! This event will use the same concept that real stage rally's use.

Rules and Layouts
There will be a layout setout across a course, you just have to get around that track as fast as possible. Each run will be seen by me to ensure no cheating or cutting corners. That is if you can cut through walls.

Today's stage will be held on Autocross and South City. You get 1 shot at each track, spin...No restarts. No telepitting, also. I want to make this as close to Real life as I can get.

Signups and Timekeeping

You will drive the Autocross track, then I will record your time via your LFSW username. NOT your display name - so I can easily find you on here. Then you will do your South City run, and I will add the times up. I will be using "Total time" instead of "Fastest Lap", mainly because this includes penalties. So you have to drive carefully.

You don't have to sign up for this event, the server will be running for around 4 hours between 12PM and 4PM. In the time leading up to that I will be building the layouts, so i've got an hour.

Now it would be brilliant if a few people came, but please. Can we get alot of people? You've got a 4 hour window, thats quite alot.

Server Information

Server name will be - LFSForum Rally Stage

Server Password will be - "forum"

Nice and simple. Okay, I hope alot of people come; so that it will take me 30 mintues to type up all the names in a topic.

ok we have have been doing rather well a couple of people have come and taken a look around and set down their times but come people come set down yours have a great time and race on a great circuit created by mcintyrej

nice job with that skin i think i have seen that skin somewhere driving AROUND lol sucker

does it load other tracks, like car park or maybe Kyoto ring if it loads kyoto ring your using a crack?
