despite the votes for getting the team started i still have yet to get many applications and the two people that have applied, have driven more miles than i have. it might not be the best idea im still in the devoloupment stage of it
hey i am in the process of creating a team for newbies who want to learn the skills of racing lfs style for your intrested pm me or you can our normal racing team which isn't just for newbies
it's an envroment for noobs to come race against each other and get help for more expireanced players
for example have a night where they learn the basics of drifting, try them out on an autox circuit show them how to do it and through teaching they will learn.
setups should be custom to the player, for example i might request a setup for that track use it for that race and then when i have time create a duplicte and use it offline to test to get it right for me. what type do i like i like one that has the diff settings and gearbox high toruqe i wanna put out of a corner and get a lot of power without spinning the tail out
for example: i might buy lfs play for a day then go on a holiday for two months then what, soon people will have a script that kicks people for not being good enough...... infact one of the oval servers already does that....lol
great idea as long as it has parameters and destructive script like i mentioned doesn't become commen place
i downloaded a program that displayed the calibration data in raw view
here's what i did and you can try
download Clear Calibration Utility
which will clear the data then get
DXTweak which allows you to change calibration information and deadzone settings.
but i think i downloaded that one and it said wouldn't run on xp, i think off the top of my head the one i used is
DX Deadzone Application which allows you to set the deadzone of your wheel. also if you haven't already upgrade to direct x 8 might help
all the programs meantioned can be found here http://www.wingmanteam.com/lat ... %20Calibration%20Utility:
go through them see if they help you in anyway
btw my wheel is a momo racing force haven't tested it on any other wheels
im one of those racers, i suppose
i don't like being kicked from a server it's not fun and when it's for no reason it's even worse, but hey sunrise sunset
normally what i do is, if your really bad like i used to be don't join the race at the start stay in pit (telepit that is) and once the 5 second limit has finished join then. it might help
i worked for me
i didn't understand what to do so i just filled out the form and copied the infomation here
if it's not right tell me where i am meant to put it

your a great person, im not persuading you to give me a server i think it's still great
it can also over rev really badly and there is nothing you can do to get out of the sand if you have slicks. my tip don't slide in and stop keep going and try to use your momentum to get out
i have just heard now that stcc is closed
