Nice post quackdougal^^ when I host I turn off votes for that reason, people get all crazy with the kicks and bans.
If you don't use the AI then you can't really come in here and say "AI is dumb we don't need it".....I never drive the MRT5 , however I don't say "get rid of the MRT5!, it's pointless anyways!"
All we are asking for is to have AI (we use them ok?) that dosn't ass-ram you every time you head into a corner in front..lol
Problem : When pedals are set to separate axis it causes a shift glitch on the paddles
Situation : I like the paddle shifters alot, also love the realism you get from not having combined axis'
Things I know: unpluging the pedals makes it's axis show from the movment on the paddles. I can solve it by getting rid of one or the other, but I like having cake and eating it too.
The Real Question: Can I just convert the plug that conects the pedals to the wheel into it's own usb? or would it need a new usb board to make it work on its own?
I've never craved "real" cars, but real tracks I think of all the time......Nürburgring Nordschleife FTW!....lol....I know with tracks we have all learned most famous courses in other games and from TV, or at some point in our race loving lives.....and that knowledge is not put to good use at this point.....Nürburgring Nordschleife has so many reasons to be the top pick, the graffiti on the road, the banks and bumps and narrow passing sections, the length.......all the others are on my wish list but not in the way that NN is..
EDITOk one problem solved another one created, installing the new LT driver only reset my pedals to combined, and with that setup it shifts perfect, but put it on separate, and its back to being craptacular again.....is it easy to re-wire the pedals so they are on thier own usb? would that help?
Ok problem solved (after i took the thing apart but oh wellillepall ) I noticed no problem with the pedals unpluged and the paddles used as gas brake axis'.....made me think it's clearly a driver problem, DL'd the newest driver from logitech for the g25, and it works perfect
Well I thank you for the possible solution, Ive just come back from trying that and no luck....also in the profiller its clear it's not functioning 85% when turned and works fine straight...
Is their anyone that knows the inner workings well, and can quess where I start?...I've strated digging my tools out..lol
I have the exact same problem, same wheel, the paddles work perfect when straight, but when its turned it sometimes dosn't shift. I used to think it was just a miss shift, like another realism that LFS had to offer ..lol..., but on the calibration screen I confirmed that the paddles where not responding when the wheel was turned in certain ways....inconsistent but still frequent.......I think the only solution involes opening the case and seeing if it can just be a loose wire or somthing fixable.....
Kinda of a bump here, but I think focus should be on the ashplalt and concrete (curbs too) first then worry about the horizon as a whole, as these are mostley what our eyes are focusing on........then we can worry about the grass, signs, banners etc... ...just a thought
Here is a screen shot of what I use, fell free to use-edit, do what ever you want with this..........the only thing that took any work was the garage, getting a pic that worked, and one I liked....etc...that worked with the perspective of the game was tough, other than that I did nothing .....hope you like
just overwrite (after making backups ) and paste in the "pic" folder
I kept the files separte if you want to take only the garage
