Well, guess what, the community is what is keeping LFS alive in many ways and it should be thanked since the game is stagnating.

You see, things don't always go good and well and if something goes wrong people have the right to say it, especially because they're part of the community, like you are.
If we want to be precise positive comments do not speed up the development as well so i can't see what's this "positiveness" about.
Should i pop a Mumm because LFS is stuck with the same content since 2008?
I guess not and even if they don't care (i am sure they don't, and it's clear) i still want to point that out.
I don't like the way this is done and there's no way to be offended just because all you want to hear is positive stuff.

Do you see any interest in the community from the devs?
Do you see any official league, promotion, whatever that will keep the actual users onto the game and let new potential ones know the game?
I see nothing of this and frankly their interest in the community has always been kept to a minimum.
The fact that the "progress report" was probably written because people complains and not because devs wanted to do it is a clear sign of their interest in their own project.
Are we (moaners, as you call us) pretending that much?
If they have lost motivation and passion in throughout the years the only thing they can do is tell us.
I don't to force anymore but i don't like the fact that a trio like them is still seen as people who care about their customers because clearly they don't.
It's not a matter of the game or physics anymore, it's just a matter of honesty and transparency.
Is it hard to understand or you can't do anything but taking their defenses whatever the case?
In fact the admins of the different servers are the people that allow the community to play since there's no joy in playing offline with the AI or trying to set a lan with 24 people on a daily basis.
Seems so strange that those people believe enad support the community more thatn devs do since there's no official server running and no official competitions from time to time.

What about Rockingham? What about graphical updates? Are they related somehow to the tyre physics? I guess not so what's the problem? You Scawen are the first one to say this thread is going to stay alive for quite a long time so it's clear the development in nowhere near completion.
You are stating that the new physics will be more precise than the actual model so you're either waiting for a supercomputer of the actual days to be purchased by the mass or you're into a very big project that i doubt will take you quite some years to complete.
Someone said about F1 teams that spend quite a lot of money on studying the dynamics of the cars so what's wrong with you guys not understanding that the less people you employ the more the updates will take to be completed.
Since the actual tyre physics is not perfect and you want it to be like that we shouldn't be playing LFS now because it's not working the way it's supposed to be.
Can you explain why we can't have other updates apart from tyres?

It's clear that the big event is the new release but it's been two years with no content and a lot of people quit with this sim in the end. So what's left if people like me can't criticize the way a report is made? I don't feel the report is such, i don't see any news at all in the report except for a tyre explanation and no idea of the completion of the project. If you're satisfied with that i suggest you to take some communication lessons since, like somebody said, Scawen is speaking like politicians.
What about Er...oh sh, he doesn't want make out a profit of this game anymore if he shows that kind of interest in the game.
You three seem really too busy for having time to promote your game in some way and make some extra earnings.

Guess what? I knew it is pretty much impossible to have a model that stick perfectly to the reality.
A progress report should contain progresses while Scawen's post clearly doesn't so i can't really understand what have you guys seen in his words.

Lol, the coolest reply to that post would be not to play LFS for a month or such.
That would be fair.
If even they don't seem to care about people not playing their game and moving onto other sims i don't see the reason why there should be people taking their defenses.
A game that has had the same content over the last two years is pretty much in stall to say the least.
A lot of fantasy is in the minds of those who say that the project is running and alive not to think about those who still trust in the devs.

So, this thread is now about people which have left LFS for something else or people which still believe that LFS S3 will be released "next friday, don't worry" .
The truth is LFS is pretty much dead since its devs never promoted an official tournament or something while we were and are waiting for the new patch.
From my point of view that's a good way to make people run from your business and be "angry" with you.
No matter how optimist are some people. There is no sign of progression in the patch nor any partecipation of the devs in the forum (in b4 anti cheat system updated bla bla bla) .
At a certain point i think that honesty is the best way to deal with an unsatisfied community since those updates should have been already out by a while.
But then tomorrow i am going to wake up and thing why am i continuing to consult this forum since even me can't believe that something will move in a short time and no one will hear my (and other's) worries.
