Looks like these are 110 pages of nothing since we don't what's the progress of the development or the things they are hopefully working on.
A thread that has no topic to discuss about has no meaning to exist and i think this is the case.
In fact i'm not, surely much less than you are.
So? What's your point, doctor, will i survive?
There is something i can't stand about all this stuff going on, or rather not going on, so i come back from time to time and see if something has changed.
But, looks like i have, like you, been waiting for nothing so far.
The truth is that an experiment like this, where the developers are in strict contacts with the buyers and players, would have required a better effort in communication from the developers side since we're not talking to a corporate but to a tiny group of friends. Again, the management of the community has been so minimal that the only official race was that LX week years ago (correct me if i'm wrong) which looks like a bit of a joke since LFS is (maybe was) a popular and good simulator. Something should have changed when everything went from being known by a bunch of people to be played even by 14 years old guys which post like they are texting.
Everyone has come to the conclusione that THEY could have given LFS a different and more serious attitude than it has but looks like THEY are perfectly fine with their attitude. I mean, 2 years for a car to be released (maybe 2, who knows) ? And still i don't know how it is possibile for Scawen to know what he's doing if he doesn't know how much is there to correct in the tyre physics (since he says he can't give us an estimate about the residual work) .
Now let your usual "it's their game and they work as slow as they want and blah blah blah" since looks like some of you can't really write down a post that isn't a copy of what is between the quotes.
15 posts are still 15 if they differ from each other in some way.
Since this hasn't happened so far and the only thing i could read was "i do whatever i want and bla bla bla" i would consider Scawen as thou he hasn't still said anything about the development of the new stuff.
He says they're working on stuff but not only he's the only one to rarely appear among mortals when there should be two other developers at work, he's not able to give us an estimate of the progression of the improvements.
Thing is i don't keep my simulator in a closet until i can't get people who play it to get killed when they crash into a wall at 200 mph. There should be a checkpoint that once hit allows me to show what i was doing in my basement for a whole couple of years. This aura of incredible elitenes he's trying to give to his work sounds more like an excuse not to say the real truth.
It' been an hour i'm trying to register and download the stuff but looks like the site is under hacker attack.
Can't go past the registration form, i don't know why, it tries to go past but leaves me on a blank page.
Has any of you got a bit more luck?
"Good news, the Dac..." ah no,this is something else.
Nice to hear Stefano has something boiling into the pot for us,let's see if this wakes up somebody i know.
Big quote.
Looks like someone is really happy with analyzing the situation from a legal point of view.
In fact legally they owe us nothing, and you guys are right saying we don't have ti expect anything.
But,since this is more than a commercial game made to build an infinite stack of euros and was characterised by the constant developers reports(demonstrating an interest for what the users want to see and play),i think some of us are right saying that, from a friendly point of view, someone did either lie or not tell the real truth.
I prefectly understand that devs have a life and bla bla bla but a community can't live on promises written on a page and never finished(so far).
I can't take them to the court, that's for sure, but i don't have the best opinion about them either.
Nice point.
If a community has to live JUST upon its users while seeing its creators doing everything but spending time on the game then i think there's really very little to joy about.
And before you jump on me i say it's perfectly fine if they want to stop,i just pretend they had the decency to tell.
A bit pricey for me,too bad the Samyang is MF,it's ok with the 14mm but on a bright medium telephoto you have to constantly adjust the focus ring not to talk about the ridicolous size of viewfinders in APS-C camers.
Got myself a 70-200 APO EX HSM for Christmas(can't remember if i already said it) and just bought a 24-70 EX DG MACRO.Im pretty fine with the aperture now, next purchase will probably be a 14mm f/2.8 by Samyang.
I just hope Sigma puts into the market that damn 85 f/1.4.
I used to play the demo a couple of months ago.
Then,in december or november, the Abarth demo came out and i installed it because it featured the 500 Abarth.
Since i knew that version wasn't the full one i downloaded the 1.1 from the nkpro site and installed it.
NOW i can't play anymore,and it's very weird.
What's more laptopvideo2go seems pretty slow for me now.
I need that .inf file nowwwwwww
The weird thing is that i played the MTV Abarth demo flawlessly and i played the normal demo as well before yesterday.
Then i bought my license, downloaded the v1.1 from the site and suddenly it doesn't go through the loading screen anymore.
I will try to update the drivers,i'll let you know. Thanks
I just bought NKpro and i already have a problem.
I start a practice session and when it comes to loading the shadow.nko file it doesn't go any further.
