Firstly, im not sure if this thread should be here or in technical (its not really a tech problem) so sorry if it should be


Im a regular lfs player playing on my desktop but i'm getting a laptop soon and would love to play on that as well. anyone else play lfs on a laptop that didnt cost too much and runs the game smooth?

I cant find any real spec for this game, my desktop runs it more than perfectly but i'd like to know any laptop suggestions that would handle the game at a reasonable price. I was thinking of the dell inspiron 1525:

yeah i thought about that for a bit, shame realy, but then again if both drivers speed in the pits then it's evened out?

Ive made a new layout on South city that only uses part of the track, but loops back using the pitlane and bit behind. I am quite impressed with it, its only good for 1-5 ish racers since its so tiny, i should realy make it wider, but its great fun in minis blasting through various routes.

tell me what you think, the layout was recorded using fraps and uploaded to Dailymotion, because youtube took years then didnt work :P

I race loads really im in junior rotax with NatSKA visiting various tracks around the UK every year with national champs in july.

Our national championships this year is @ Llandow, ive never been there before so bit worried i should be in senior max now cos im over 16 (17 in april) but in natska you can race till you're 18 if your still in education. ( www.natska.co.uk / www.barclaykartteam.co.uk )

I know its a bit pointless - ive only been racing for a week or two, but is it possible to find out where i'm ranked overall?

On lfs world i can only find top 50, and i'd like to know how 'good' i am so far(t). hehe

I cant get this layout working - wat do i have to do? which track do i open it on, on south city?

Any way of getting AI players on autocross layouts? ive made a kart track, rye house, you may have seen it in the autocross section, but i've no -one to race with so is there any way of loading AI drivers onto it ?

Yeah if only you could build a starting grid then proper races could take place. Anybody heard of the kart track kimbolton? Ive made that as well, and im working on fulbeck, pfi, and whilton mill new circuit as well

Wow someone is intersted !

the screen dump looks odd, becuase of the angle of the camera, but i can assure you that the first corner is not that wide

I regrularly drive the real life circuit, and this model feels quite the same, so i'd guess the accuracy is around 75%. I'm very impressed with myself, its my first autocross, and i love racing on it !

The alfano (magnetic strips) are also in similar places, so split times are near enough perrrfect as well

Is there any way of having AI drivers on the autocross? becuase whenever i make an online game, nobody joins, (i think i'm doing the options wrong or somthing) so i want to play offline. Unless you can give me a guide on how to correctly set up an online game

Mainly for the karters out there, i've made the popular kart circuit Rye House, Motorsport World. It is basicly the same, just no kerbs and the pits are in a slight different place. Rye House is used for the london cup, you may have seen this event on tv.

it is best raced in the MRT, keeping the vehicle in 1st gear, this way it revs about the same as a Junior Rotax, and sets times around the same as a senior max. Feedback please !
