okay guys, i liturally made it in 2 mins anyway for a laugh, so its okay that it doesn't count, might have a go at making something that fits the theme later when i have time.
:o this is off topic but i didint know people still used single cores or hardware that old, though i remember the 6800ultra was one of the first SLI cards for pci-e if i recall correct.
heres my sig from a computing forum i post on dayly and i thought my hardware was slow!
Not sure if this has been noticed befor, but kyoto already has a kinda like tarmac WRC stage around the edge of it.
Also its simerlar to a hillclimb corse too
It has jumps, bumps, and guard rails at the edge, bit like a WRC stage through mountains etc
It would be pretty easy to make it driveable, just enable the surface to be driven on, and we lfs players could do the rest into making it a rally stage using layout editor etc.
Do you think this is a good idea?
Check picture 1 for three screenshots of the track im talking about
Check picture 2 for a picture of the track from the sky, as seen around the bottom of the picture
I can't see this happening at this exact moment in time as there aren't enough pit garages on most tracks right now,
BUT...
When rockingham is here etc, i think there might be a possibility that on rockingham as there will be alot more pit garages, that the 32 car limit is raised up a bit for rockingham configurations.
This is true, but iv ran out of objects, id of done alot more to the whole track if i had more objects to use lol. but you also got to remember how a pit lane on a oval is, there is'nt pit lane lines across the track like a f1 circuit etc, so a guess it will just have to make do lol
I First made a nascar oval, then started working on a track outside the oval based on a monaco type thing with roads, chicanes, curbs etc.
It's great for racing in any car.
Unfortunately for the road corse the start/finish lights are the wrong way around, due to how the autocross startline works.
So if its used for racing you will have to line up on the grid.
Where as racing on just the oval you would do a rolling start anyway.
The pitlane in the oval infield are aligned up, so can use the pits to reset car dur in racing etc when you pit
Don't know what else to say but enjoy Let me know what you think.
